All About My College (AIT,PUNE)

I choose this field as I had little interest towards machines but as this was my plan B after opting for army so I am pursuing it.The faculty members are good if coordinated properly but if you trouble them they will revert the same back to you.There are very less number of female students as compared to male.All the teaching Faculty are almost having PHD and have good knowledge bank,but some of them aren't that experienced so face a little difficulty while delivering it to the students.The exams are conducted timely according to the curriculum of SPPU and if studied well then are very easy to score.

There are many companies that give internship oppurtunities to students like microsoft ,google , cybage etc but you need to show up skills to them as well.There are many oppurtunities in content writing and web development too if you upskill in your domain.

Students start to get placements from the 7th semester onwards.The highest package gone till now is 1.05 crore which was given to a student placed in Amazon Dublin.Average package is around 14-15 lakhs per annum.The percentage of students getting placed varies every year but is always above 90%. My plans after getting degree is to clear CDSE and go to Indian Military Academy,Dehradun.

The fees hike policy is like they increase 20% percent in the fees every year,so the total cost of pursuing engineering here is around 12-16 lakhs if we include all cost of expenses.There are many scholarships for class toppers and branch toppers provided in the college and many seniors get good campus jobs from here with good income per annum

There are majorily three fest- CULTURAL,SPORTS AND TECH AAKRITI held every year in the college which is almost conducted by 3 boards present in the college headed by student secretaries and club members.They are many books of every kind available in the library and once issued you can again re-issue it from the college website library section.All classrooms have projectors and speaker for interactive studies and white boards too.There are many sports activities in the college like Cricket, Football, Tennis, Badminton, Squash, etc.There are many clubs in the college which have there own websites like OSS,E-CELL etc

Hostel is compulsory for First year students,after that students are alloted hostels on the basis of merit list from second year onwards.The rooms are normal with fans for each individual and coolers in their rooms.The quality of food being provided is above average like not too good not too bad & there's a fixed menu set for the whole year.The hostel are also alloted on the first come basis and the fees is included in the whole fees of first year.

The student should have given JEE mains examination in the same year of admission with good percentile (above 90) and should have scored atleast 60% in intermediate (class 12th).Application forms are released after 2-3 months of result of JEE,so always keep checking the ait official website.Application fees is always around ?900-1000 and dated may vary every year.There are no special reservations for anyone excluding the students who are from J&K.(They get admission on the basis of class 12th marks) The admission faculty should improve the working of main website as it keeps re loading again and again & also should try to keep the admission procedure as smooth as possible.
