Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because i love biology. All the faculties well educated so nice so friendly looking like a wow There will be a facilty for every class All faculties are highly qualified and their teaching methods are also very effective and different. Term exams were conducted on time according to the academic calendar it will be easy for you to pass if you study

Internships Opportunities

It is compulasory to do internship before tou finish the course college offers some internships or you can go for other companies interships will help you to get placememts easily. It will give you a good experience.

Placement Experience

It depends on your skills from 5th semester onwards you are eligible There is 100 percent placement for most of the branches Highest package is upto 50 lakhs per annum And average is around 12 lakhs per annum

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees actually depends on your annual income if it is more than 5 lakhs then youneed to pay 1,15,000 as course fee for an year If annual income is between 1 and 5 lakh then 41,000 per year If less than 1 lakh then its free Many scholarship are available you can apply for it

There is an annual cultural fest called ragam which one of the best fest in south india There are almost every sports in the campus and you can also get into the college team if interested And tgere are also many clubs like musical club NSS club etc..

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

I chose this college because of strong reputation , good placements and quality of education. I applied to other NITs and state engineering colleges and received some admissions,but selected this college because I preffered Electrical Engineering. Details Of NITC

I have choosen this college because it is of top 5 NITs and i am getting a good branch. I have apllied for remaining top nits also, but i got this for my jee mains rank( i couldn't make to other top nits because may be of lack of good preperation for jee). When compared to remianing NITs, this college has everything that every other NIT also have, the sports facilities here can be improved. Life at NITC by Vimosh Kumar

I wanted to get into Mechanical Engineering in any of the top NIT's so applied for all the NIT's in the NIRF ranking order with mechanical in every college so after the counselling happened to get into NIT Calicut. The admission process is through JoSAA Counselling where students come to the college after getting alloted but before that the student needs to clear the JEE Main Exam to get admitted into the college.
