Likes

First thing that I liked in DU is the atmosphere which I got for studies.
The seniors are quite friendly and supportive
The teaches are so supportive and helpful as they help us in academics as well as in our personal problems also

Dislikes

The most disliked thing in my college is the canteen food
The infrastructure is not that good as I expected
And the other important thing is that there is no hostel facility in our college

Course Curriculum Overview

I always had a great interest in political science so I had decided to continue it with my graduation. The faculty are well qualified, the have qualified UGC NET. The student teacher ratio is 1:55 I took admission in July 2023 and now my 1 semester exams are going on...it's not too difficult if you regularly take your classes and devote 2 hours of self study.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 15000 per year

Internships Opportunities

As I mentioned that I'm a political science student and also a fresher so I don't know about the placements and internship opportunities....and also there is no such opportunity for the humanities courses... But as much as I know is that there are several online courses offered to students regarding coding, freelancing etc..

Fees and Financial Aid

The few structure in BA political science Hons is 15000/- per year , as per my understanding I didn't got any scholarship opportunity even when I was the topper of my class this year. And regarding the on campus jobs there is no such opportunity for humanities courses..rather they prefer technical courses

Campus Life

Yeah! The life here in the Delhi University is quite amazing, you get interacted with different people having different culture and language, it's very interesting to know others and their culture. From the sports perspective the college is decent and their are different societies linked with different arts... I'm not too social so I'm not that much connected with people

Admission

A person must have studied till class 12. Details about the applications and related issues are provided in the university website. The result process takes long , so the session starts late and the burden of syllabus fell on the students....so the results should be declared as soon as possible.

Honest review of DU SOL B.A. good for working students not for regular college experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose B.A from DU SOL because the course curruculmis exactly the same as regular DU colleges which gives degree strong crediblity for UPSC goverment jobs and further studies like M.A the syllabus is coprehensive and covers core subjects like histyory, poltical science and english litreature in detail

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is a bit too theoretical and less practical. The exams in the college takes places every month which are seasonals and are for internal marking and then we have semester exams in every 6 months which accounts for the external marking.

BEYOND THE BOOKS COLLEGE EXPERIENCE

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course i am engaged is BA HONOURS ENGLISH in DAULAT RAM COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY OF DELHI, the course offered is comprehensive, interesting and detailed. The faculty of English honours department is fully supportive of the students, the faculty members do not just give theory or bookish knowledge but also help us improve our communication in English language. We have studied many areas of literature within the course offered- ROMANTIC LITERATURE, EUROPEAN LITERATURE, INDIAN LITERATURE, AMERICAN LITERATURE, DALIT LITERATURE AND EVEN REGIONAL LITERATURE TRANSLATED IN ENGLISH. Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

DCAC- a summary of college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months

All about ARSD.

I applied to a lot of other colleges under Delhi University and some private colleges, i chose this college over those because overall it was a better and reputed college. Fees is quite affordable, attendance is managable, well infrastructure, based in a good locality, good connectivity and several other reasons.
