Placement is the main issue of the college on campus placement is difficult
Lack of practical knowledge only assignments and files give stress to us
Toxic environment and drinking and smoking culture

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose electronics and communication engineering because I have keen interest in semiconductors and microprocessors 1 faculty on 60students Faculties have done their PhD in the subjects Term exams are in 6 months it is not difficult to pass them

Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

40k for a semester tution fee it is less than other private colleges and is affordable Scholarship opportunities are less It is difficult to find campus jobs due to less arival of the companies beacuse college is in the hilly area

Gunj is the annual fest and spandan is the tech fest They are conducted during November Course related books are available and we have access of online Library Sports event are conducted but not much activities There are club's like X's band cultural club media and publication etc college website and clubs all ar run by students

One cot one table and chair is provided other things we have to bring by ourselves Meal quality is good and diverse menu Hostel is affordable after the admission process hostel is allotted then we have to submit the fee and all online

Admission process is done by uttrakhand technical university counselling after clearing the jee mains exam and fulfilling the admission criteria Application form can be found the official website of the National testing agency Jee was cleared through uttarpradesh obc quota but admission was done on the general basis in the college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts in Semester 7 and 8 for can say, in the last of graduation. HUL,TCS, Microsoft,JP Morgan and many huge companies visit campus for placements. Highest pakage in placement goes around 1.5 crore annually to lowest pakage around 8 LPA. Companies mainly comes for SDE role. But apart that few comes for PM, Data Science, Consulting profiles as well.

Responsive faculty and well managed curriculum to focus on specific areas of each students to make them better in the region of technolgy where they want to grow. mid level toughness with regular tests and end sem combining the internal and external practical exams.

I always loved coding and learning about new technologies. Also, jobs in CS/IT department are paid high. The faculty and student ratio is on the medium side. Faculties are highly qualified from IIT and top private colleges. They are very helpful and have a great pedagogy.

Remarks:

A very good college. There is no spoon feeding scene like that of private institute. As good ranking students are there you can have a good academic competition which will nurture your ability and groom to you be a better engineer.

I applied for this college only as my parents allowed for this one only as it is closer to my home. The college lacks a bit in terms of infrastructure as compared to other colleges in the region. The placements are not good enough. To take admission into Btech 1st year in this college, one needs to give JEE Mains exam and UKSEE for lateral entry and 12th merit is accepted for admission in Biotechnology.
