Course Curriculum Overview

Since i was in my 10 standard, discussing with seniors, i decided to choose Btech after 12th. Faculty is also good and helping. Most of the teachers are IIT graduate or P.hd. graduate. We had 2 CTs 1 in September and another in November. And End sem exam was scheduled from 11 December to 27th December.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 38625 per year

Placement Experience

From 7th semester students are eligible for campus placement. In recent years, a new Director Sir has been appointed for our campus. Earlier we have less campus placement. But since this new Director Sir is appointed he has brought few placements in our campus. He has also promised us that he'll bring more companies. Companies put different different CGPA cut-off for campus placement. After getting my degree I've decided to go for M.Tech.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure is quite good in comparison to other Colleges, as it is a government college. Our college is registered in NSP portal so we have a chance to get the scholarship as financial support. Placements are also fine. Not so good but yes it's fine.

Campus Life

There are several events that are held at our campus. Like Alumni Reunion, webinars amd other events. Currently i don't remember the month in which they are held. Books are also available regarding both the course & if anyone want to study about thing othet than the syllabus. Amenities are also good. As our college is located in Hilly area so we don't need any kind of Fan or AC Different sports are also played in our campus. Sports Competition are also held.

Hostel Facilities

As a true review, i will rate hostel facilities 2.5 out of 5. I don't like mesh food at all. They don't even follow proper hygiene. Menu is also not good. Registration process is that we have to fill hostel form and fee submition receipt should be sticked with the registration form.

Hostel Fee: INR 18000 per year

Admission

I've Given my JEE mains exam. Earlier i didn't get selected for the course in the institute. But during the Institute level councelling i was selected for Btech course in BTKIT Dwarahat. We can find the application forms in our college website

The curriculum is highly relevant, focusing on practical knowledge for real-world prep, though more hands-on application and updated content would strengthen it. Exams occur 6 times yearly; they are tough but fair for the course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts in Semester 7 and 8 for can say, in the last of graduation. HUL,TCS, Microsoft,JP Morgan and many huge companies visit campus for placements. Highest pakage in placement goes around 1.5 crore annually to lowest pakage around 8 LPA. Companies mainly comes for SDE role. But apart that few comes for PM, Data Science, Consulting profiles as well.

From the 7th semester you can sit on the placement drives.. Multiple companies visited like accenture,adobe,tcs etc. The percentage is little bit low this year..i have not much knowledge about it right now. I will try to get a good job.

aspects of curricullum that influenced my desicion to take admission: technical based courses are available. a well defined infrastructure. seperate buildings to involve in different regions of technology. available technical courses with updated and advanced syllabus with great faculty and seminars of different active clubs like google and microoft club. Responsive faculty and well managed curriculum to focus on specific areas of each students to make them better in the region of technolgy where they want to grow. mid level toughness with regular tests and end sem combining the internal and external practical exams.

I always loved coding and learning about new technologies. Also, jobs in CS/IT department are paid high. The faculty and student ratio is on the medium side. Faculties are highly qualified from IIT and top private colleges. They are very helpful and have a great pedagogy.

Best college of uttrakhand

Remarks:

A very good college. There is no spoon feeding scene like that of private institute. As good ranking students are there you can have a good academic competition which will nurture your ability and groom to you be a better engineer.

why to choose this college

Why BTKIT Dwarahat ?

After 12th , apper for JEE mains , councelling through UTU you will get this college , cutoff is not a issue there you will eaisly get cse with the 5 to 7 lkh rank , even you have appeared for jee you can still go through spot councelling , seats are generally vacant there....Read More

It is mandatory to appear for JEE Mains entrance examination for admission to Bipin Tripathi Kumar Institute of Technology College. And counseling is done by Uttarakhand Technical University, after that you go to the allotted college and get your admission done. The admission process was very nice and in an organized manner .The admission on the basis of jee mains examination that we gave and for different course the eligibility is also different the application form is available in mechanical engineering department and application process and fee submission process also held there and the application date is around 28 September 2022.
