Is it all Hype or a real GEM

i am interested in mechanical engineering. in my college faculty and student ratio is very good and decent. here all teachers are well qualified and well experienced .All faculties have phd in one semester we have 2 semester exam and 3 class test.

The Center for Career Development manages all the on campus internship and placements for students and provies the best to students. A lot of companies offered internship like amazon with 3 offers, american express(4), Barclays(4), D.E.Shaw(1), Oracle(16), Ford Motors(3), Qualcomm(6), Tata Motors(18), etc.

After 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. A lot of companies visits the campus for placements like Google which made 5 offers, Accenture(15), BPCL(10), BEL(25), mercedes(12), Mediatek(4), oracle(39), Qualcom(19), Reliance Petroleum(30), samsung(4), JP Morgan(3), etc. The highest package offered in 2023 is 50 LPA and average package is 13.77 LPA. 83.65% students are placed in 2023. After getting a degree my plan to get a decent placement and then job

110000 rupees for for 1st semester which includes 74500 as institute fees and rest 36500 as one time fees. So for the next 7 semester the fees is 74500. Hostel and mess fees are not included in it. Hostel and mess combined fees is 55000 for the 1st semester and 33000 for the next 7 semester. There are some scholarship provided by the college. But almost all of them are for SC, ST and whose income is very low. So no, I didn't got any scholarship as I'm OBC and my income didn't fall in the minimum range of scholarship.

Ragam is cultural tech fest and Tathva is the tech fest which is held in the month of april and october respectively. The Central Library has a lot of books and journals. Both academic and non academic books are here and everything is easily available by ID card. Classrooms are well equipped with alll the basic amenities with very good quality of benches, projectors and blackboards. For those who are thinking for of AC in classes, they will not be happy while reading this, there is no AC in classrooms. There are a lot of Sports facilities here like cricket, football, badminton, basketball, khokho, kabaddi, handball, etc. There are a lot of extra curricular and clubs activties always going in the campus which makes student involved. One of them GDSC which is for coding.

There are 4 people in each room. Each room has 4 beds, 4 tables, 4 chairs, 2 tube lights, 2 fans, a window, but only 3 cupboards. There are 2 hostels for 1st year in which one hostel has LAN facility which other has wifi which is very bad. The connectivity is very poor so dont expect too much speed. Meal is served 4 times a day. Food is okayish and North Indians will have a problem with the taste, Sometimes we prefer to eat outside after looking at food. For hostel accomodation we have to pay money of 13000 in advance for each semester in our hostel app then only a hostel is alloted. The hostel is affordable.
