Course Curriculum Overview

0.5

Honestly I didn't choose this course instead I got this as my rank was in that range (97 percentile) but now I am pretty happy with my course as it is a easy course and students gets a lot of free time. Nearly all the faculties are old and well qualified (phd and doctrates too) but you might have to face problem with some of the faculty members. Student to faculty ratio is okk in our college i.e1:20 which is quite good compared to other colleges. Term exams were at right time and toughness depends on subject and faculty, in my first semester the most difficult was geology as our professor was not liberal in giving marks to students.

Internships Opportunities

3

In first most of the internships are paid ones means you have to pay to the company then they will teach you some stuff. From 2nd year you get internship based upon your marks , hardwork and skills. Very few people are able to grab this. For third it is compulsory to do a internship in your core field.

Placement Experience

2.5

Students from6 th semester are eligible for placement and most of the big companies have stopped visiting our college from past 3-4 years due to lack of quality of students in this college as college is preffering quantity above quality. Percentage of students getting placed are different for different branches moreover you also have to be eligible for campus placements. Nearly 80 percent of eligible students gets placed. My plan is to become a assistant engineer in civil field.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is pretty high according to me it is nearly 140000 per year for normal students and for whose income is in between 1 lakh and 5 lakh it is nearly 70000to which they say it is 1/3rf of actual fees. It is very difficult to get a scholarship especially if you are general category student no matter what your family income is. Unlike most of the tier 1 college you have to work hard for getting a decent placement in this college.

Campus Life

3

Campus life is good but campus seems smaller than the given data most of the area is under forest cover and infrastructure still needs improvement. Some clubs are very good but only some and there is a lot of partiality in joining the clubs in our college as mallus prefer mallus , telugu prefer telugu and hindi prefer hindi and in hindi division based on state. There is a dating app run by college student named tangle and many Instagram handles for all kinds of problems a student can face

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel faculty are not that strict, some are but very less. Food quality is nice here you will not miss food. We need to register on nitc hostel app for our mess and fees pavement. You can also take 2000? loan per month from mess app.

Admission

You have to clear jee mains with a decent percentile if you are a general category student Minimum required percentile for general candidate is nearly 95. For category students it is pretty much easy especially for sc /st and pwd. If you are a pwd then u can get the college even at 35 percentile, means you don't have to do anything in exam just you need to submit the exam without giving any answer you will definitely get more than 35 percentile. One improvement I want is to remove the reservation criteria especially for those whose family income is more than 5 lakhs

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance. The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies. The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.
