This college is only for the children of the army wards.

The college is very good and the experience is also great and the college management will respond to the complaints and suggests quickly.

I took jee mains 2016.I scored 142 in jee mains I wanted to join in the NIT but since I was not getting my preferred branch I opted for AIT in which I was getting my favorite branch. There is no interview process for the admission, the admission is purely based the JEE MAINS GENERAL RANK. I was interested in computers, new technologies and coding so i choose this branch.

The course is very good which I have chosen, the course anyhow focuses less on the practical learning but with the institute's initiatives to some extent, the research and practical learning are taking place.

The collage directly do not provide any internship but through the AIT alumni and faculty they guide and inform about different internship held in various places.The general stipend the present students who are going to internship are getting about 5 -9 thousand rupees.

The placements and average salary is constantly increasing constantly from the last 5 years.The placements percentage is 96 percentage in 2016 with average salary of 5.07 lakhs annually.The job opportunities are also good the number of industries visiting the college for placement is increasing constantly In 2016, 80 Industries visited AIT for placement.The major companies include Oracle , Zs, HSBC, Symantec, 3 D PLM , Barclays etc

In this college there are so many events celebrated .Starting from freshers day, the technical fest named SOLUTIONS and Cultural Fest are held and for sports also there is another event called PACE for 3 days and apart from this there will be Aakruthi which is between the branches. Apart from this there are various clubs which conduct various other competitions in the college around the year. The football matches are held in two ways 6 aside and as uasual full team matches both in Aakrthi and PACE. The college authorities contribute to great extent, with the support of the college only the Event Heads organise those events.

The fee structures for 2016-2017 for the first year is 2,27,535/- which includes everything from tuition fee to the hostel and mess fees everything.From the second year onwards, the fees depend's on the branch.The fees is expensive.

The scholarship are offered to the students from various authorities . 40,000/- is given by the army welfare group and there are some other scholarships which are offered to the students on various grounds and the list is available in the website of AIT .It is little bit big list so i am not quoting it here. yes , I got the Scholarship of 40,000/- . No, the college do provide any help for loans.

The college has so many Extracurricular activities, and u will get ample opportunities to explore only thing u need manage all the activities. The college conducts various competitions for exploring and cash prize will also be awarded.The facilities are good for debate, singing, dancing, Stand up comedy, musical instruments etc.

I reside in the Hostel. In the first it is compulsory for every student to stay in hostel, but from second year onwards it is the choice of the student in which most of them stay in the Hostel only. The Hostel rooms are of three types singlet, doublet and triplet they are allotted based on the merit number given by the college. The cost for the Hostel is included in the main fees only but only for hostel it costs around 30,000/-. Food is good, the quality is also good but only thing is u feel bored after few months.

This college is having a very big network of alumni and the college is in touch with the alumni every year there will be an AIT alumni meet also held every year, where the various alumni working in different parts of the world will come to interact with the students.They offer projects and also internships to the students. The platform for Interaction is Facebook Page is provided and there is website for Alumini as well.

The Labs are frequent but the exams are not that much frequent.In labs some small exams are conducted and every month some or the other exams are conducted so it is not the case of complete chilling out.The labs are there every day of the week for 2 hrs a day .so it is balanced.

The faculty is good, most of them are postgraduates and have good experience and in them some hold there Phd also in various feilds.The faculty show almost interest for teaching to the students .The teacher are also very well plan the activities to teach through the power point presentations and using the videos and also some other technologies for teaching effectively.
