Dislikes
- As Training and Placement cell is still growing. So many student do not get much support from the college.
- Infrastructure needs to be improved as sports ground are not developed much. And also campus needs green coverage more.
Course Curriculum Overview
I wanted to pursue engineering. Faculty are BPSC qualified. Most faculty are Mtech and PhD degree holder. In each semester there are two exams one is mid sem and other is end sem also practical exams. Exam is moderate to pass.
Internships Opportunities
Usually internship are offered through government programs. NETS internship is available in our college. Roles are usually administrative and computer roles. Stipend are approx 15000 Rs per month. Usually projects are to assist the administrative roles and support to the college and faculty.
Placement Experience
Most students start preparing for campus placement in final year. Usually local and tier 3 companies come for placement. Average package are 5 LPA. Highest package are 10 LPA. Planning for PSU after Btech.
Fees and Financial Aid
As this is Bihar government college so fees are little as compared to private college. Tuition fees are approx 50 thousands in 4 year Btech. Hostel and mess fees are approx 3600rs a month. Student credit card is available for students.
Campus Life
Freshers party, farewell party, Annual function, saraswat puja and other culture programs are organised time to time. There is one library in our college that provides all the books that student may need. Classroom has all the essential amenities. Extracurricular activities including sports are played within the campuses. Cricket, kabaddi, tug of war, volleyball and badminton are common sports. Many social group and clubs are in our college that is run by students.
Hostel Facilities
There are two types of room in our hostel. For junior three bed room with three chair and three study table with enough lights and fans are available. For senior single room with bed, chair and study table are provided. Meal quality is decent. Roti, rice, daal, dry veg, seasonal veg curry, paneer and chicken these items are provided in menu. Usually at the time of admission hostel is alloted to the students. Gosainpur and dumra are the localities near the college that offers rented room.
Admission
You need to write JEE main exam and on the basis of jee main score you get admission. You have to apply to bcece website, through counseling. Atleast 80 percent cutoff requires for CSE branch. Reservation benefits is there as per your category.
