Course Curriculum Overview
I am interested in coding since I was in school. So, information technology was an automatic choice for me. In my college there are enough faculties and they are good and cooperative. The HOD is very supportive and guide us well for career. The teaching quality is good also, and exams are held regularly according to the university calendar.
Placement Experience
Placement is good in our college. Mostly 100 percent of students get placed from college. The average package of the college is around 4.8 lakhs. Companies like intel, amazon, Accenture, Infosys, TCS hires from our college.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is around 4.8 lakhs for the total course span. You have to pay the fees per semester. There are ample opportunities for scholarship like SVMCM and other scholarship programs. The account department provides good support for education loan and other financial accounts. I am getting SVMCM scholarship by WB govt. I'm at 3rd year and waiting for the placements in 4th year.
Campus Life
There are different Cultural programs throughout the year and various clubs for various purposes. Sports club, musical clubs(Sargam), Cultural Club (Yuva), Rotaract Club and others are there. I am part of Rotaract Club of MSIT and Yuva, myself.
Admission
I applied for WBJEE and had a rank around 19000. Then by counseling, I got Meghnad Saha Institute of Technology in second round. I went to the college campus and paid the admission fees. They allotted the roll number and I got admission in the department of Information Technology.
