The NIT CALICUT Things

I wanted Computer Science and as I mentioed before I wan't able to pass the cutoff for the CSE branch so I opted for EEE in the same college. All the faculties in NITC are Ph.d Holders at least and many of them have registered many patents on their names.

As being a first year student I don't know morw about the internships actually but we have some paid interships now however some free interships when provided then there is a good chance of going for it, and stipend I have heard is about 15K and above.

Our campus placemet is very good and decent in itself the average salary package for the CSE lst time was 22LPA . From the 5th semester you can go for the internships and later after 6th d=semester you can go for thr campus placement as well. Companies like Tata Motors,Google,amazon,MIcron,Qualcomm,HCL etc have visited our campus actually the number is more than 200 so can't lst them all here.

There are many scholarships available for the students who really need these such as FFE,Reliance scholarship and many others the institute informs about them time to tiime and some scholaships are provided by the institute itself.

The campu slife of NITC in no doubt very good than most of the other colleges becuse it's one of the top five NITs in India. Here we have the India's biggest tech fest called TATHVA and a great cultural fest as well famous with the name RAGAM and it is soon going to be celebrated after two months since I am writing this review . NITC has a very big CENTRAL LIBRARY which has 1000s of books and journals available along with that you get a ebppk access to different known Digital libraries. NITC classrooms are provided with Green boards and projectors and fast WIFI access as well in the whole campus .NITC promotes all kind of sports activities as well it lacks no where in Sports and also organises Sports events and fests. It has so many clubs formed by the students that I can't list them all here they are really many but the most famous I am wirting them here such as drone,coding,drama,yoga etc.

In the hostels you are provided a 4 shared room with 1bed 1table 1 chair an internet connection (LAN or WIFI depends upon the hostel you get)but both have a good speed. The hostel registration can be done by the hostel app of NITC there after depositing the fees(after LOGGING IN using your NITC mail id they provide you)you can get the room allotment button available. The Mess here if we talk then we have all kinds of messes available veg/non veg/Mix(veg+non veg)the quality of the food is also quite good.No problem with the food actually. and the prices are also reasonable 138rs/day which includes 3 times meal and 1 time evening snacks.

I qualified JEE Main and got the counselling done by JOSAA and then secured a sat in NITC. The application form and all necessary details are available on the official site of JEE main this exam is conducted by NTA every year.
