College Review of IITP

I am in CSE course.I choose this course because This includes a lot of skill development and it includes many knowlege of many fields like in first year it includes a 1 course from each branch like Engineering Drawing from Civil, Electrical course from Electrical branch and Maths course from MnC and it also include biology, Environmental Studies, English courses. And there are alot courses to study. After 1st year there are courses specific to Computer like Architechure, Programming, Databases etc. In these courses we get to know about computer very deeply and i enjoy i alot personally. After 2nd year the Courses comes like AI, ML, BlockChain etc. It also includes topic which are very important in todays life. Faculty are also very amazing. Some faculty are strict and some are lenient. Mostly They want you should learn subject instead of just learning because of papers. In one year there are 2 semesters and in one semeter there will be two paper midsem and endsem.

Internships are also offered in out college. Major comapnies like Google, Deshaw, Atlassian, Splinker, Directi, Willings and many more come for internship offeres. Stipend varies among these companies from 20k to 2 lack per month. For getting selected in an internship in some company you have to build resume

Yes, Placements are being offered in our college. Average package in this year itself is 29lacs till now. placements season has started 1 month past and more than 150 students are already being placed with that average package. For Placements offered by campus students in 4th year are eligble. Many major companys visit like Google, Splinker, Atlassian, and many more. highest package of this year till now in one month is 84lacks and average is 29lacs. Above 96 percentage of batch is placed in placements. My plan is to get into IT sector and find a good job. After that i want to enjoy my life.

As this is a government college so Fees is less compared to other colleges and Fee structure includes 5 types of fees- Hostel fees - around 2k, Academic fee - around 2k, Mess fee-around 18k, Tutition fee-around 1lac, Institute fee-arounf 3k. and there is also medical insurence of around 2k.This is fee structure for people with income greater than 5 lacks but for 1lac to 5lac - tution fee reduces to one third and for below 1lack there is no tution fee. for people income below 5 lack there is refund of tution fee by scholarship program McM every year.

College Life is great. Here you make a lot of friends and you do alot of things. Campus includes all types of sports playground. That are open all time. There are also Annual fest like Anwesha in which you enjoy a lot there are dj nights and a lot of different games to play. there are also tech fest by different clubs like Ecell etc. There are also alot of books available in library. there are specific timming to library and whcich are extended normally during exam time. There is a group called gymkhana which is run by students only and is mainly for students it include a lot of different field like academic, welfare, sports and alot

In fisrt and second year you may get a room in whcih 3 students stay or 2student stay but in 3rd year you will get a double sitting room and in 4th year you will get single room. There are alot of facilites in the room like table chair almirah etc. Mess Meal quality is good and menu changes every month. There are many different kind of food made in a week. Registration process is easy and done on spot only when you enter in hostel for first time.Hostal is inside of campus only. It is quite far from place where classes happen but we have a option of cycle to go there or bus also.

There is a entrance exam for getting addmission into IIT Patna and the exam is called JEE. It consist of two paper JEE Mains and JEE Advance. First we have to give JEE Main and clear it then we give JEE Advance and on the basis of rank in JEE advance you chose college and the branch. and you will get addmission into IIT through Jee advance and NIT through JEE mains. And i got IIT Patna CSE (Computer Science and Engineering) with a rank of 2383 in JEE Adv. and ranking of CSE went from 1800 to 2650 in general category. On website of IITP you will get all process of addmission it is very simple process. which include first you go to nearest IIT college to get your documents verified and then there is some process within your college.
