Our course is very good as it has good carrier opportunity if show good academics and mostly it is based upon your skill set. On the other hand, faculty members supportive as far as I know. They help students

As nowadays b.tech is an on demand course all over india which makes it Costlier to persue . Also due to the 4 year tenure. But as our Institute is an government affiliated college it's courses are Subsidied .

Campus Life

Life at college is really good being so close to nature it feels so good. As for social life, mist of the students are from mountain region of uttarakhand which makes social activities great

Hostel Facilities

There is not any great facility in the hostel but it is really good as compared to the fees. You get a chair, a cot, a Studytable with the room. Mess food is okay and hygienic . Mess is really affordable as compared to other places.

Hostel Fee: INR 18000 per year

Admission

Only way to get into the btech program is through jee mains. You sumbit your jee mains result at utu counselling portal and get seat according to your rank. In my case, my rank was 1,30,000. So i got electronics branch

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts in Semester 7 and 8 for can say, in the last of graduation. HUL,TCS, Microsoft,JP Morgan and many huge companies visit campus for placements. Highest pakage in placement goes around 1.5 crore annually to lowest pakage around 8 LPA. Companies mainly comes for SDE role. But apart that few comes for PM, Data Science, Consulting profiles as well.

I always loved coding and learning about new technologies. Also, jobs in CS/IT department are paid high. The faculty and student ratio is on the medium side. Faculties are highly qualified from IIT and top private colleges. They are very helpful and have a great pedagogy.

Best college of uttrakhand

Remarks:

A very good college. There is no spoon feeding scene like that of private institute. As good ranking students are there you can have a good academic competition which will nurture your ability and groom to you be a better engineer.

-i have no choice to choose other college because my jee rank was not so good and in private college there fee structure is very high so I have to choose this college over other colleges. -yes i am rejected by many college because my jee rank was too low to get there admission. - you have to clear jee mains exam to get admission in my college. I applied for this college only as my parents allowed for this one only as it is closer to my home. The college lacks a bit in terms of infrastructure as compared to other colleges in the region. The placements are not good enough. To take admission into Btech 1st year in this college, one needs to give JEE Mains exam and UKSEE for lateral entry and 12th merit is accepted for admission in Biotechnology.
