Likes

Some teachers are good and have knowledge
For sports it's good it has some badminton and volleyball courts in hostels

Dislikes

It's not close to city so you won't get that benifit
Campus Canteens are not so good not worth it

Ece course is quite good and better for the future. some faculties are good and have knowledge they are phd holders teaching method good sometimes they use smart boards others are quite boring (there always are many in every English college) midterms/class test happens in 2 months and two times in one semester and isn't much tough

Class Size: 63Course Fees: INR 12000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are actually normal as compared to other colleges it will be 1 lakh for a year including mess and hostel. For TFW candidates, tuition fees get as low as 60-70%. Students can also go for an NSP scholarship from the government which comes every year

Campus Life

There aren't many annual fests, some happen like for sports and dance. Students can opt for clubs. There are many clubs like for tech, sports and many others which you also can check on gbpec website. The library is okay. It's usually closed on holidays. Curriculum books are present. You can also take your laptops and is not congested

Admission

I took jee mains whose application form, fees and date you can check out in jeemain.nta.nic.some seats are reserved for category students like SC, st, obc and for ews also some seats are for TFW candidates whose annual income is under 2.5 lakh admission process is through UTU

The curriculum is highly relevant, focusing on practical knowledge for real-world prep, though more hands-on application and updated content would strengthen it. Exams occur 6 times yearly; they are tough but fair for the course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts in Semester 7 and 8 for can say, in the last of graduation. HUL,TCS, Microsoft,JP Morgan and many huge companies visit campus for placements. Highest pakage in placement goes around 1.5 crore annually to lowest pakage around 8 LPA. Companies mainly comes for SDE role. But apart that few comes for PM, Data Science, Consulting profiles as well.

From the 7th semester you can sit on the placement drives.. Multiple companies visited like accenture,adobe,tcs etc. The percentage is little bit low this year..i have not much knowledge about it right now. I will try to get a good job.

Responsive faculty and well managed curriculum to focus on specific areas of each students to make them better in the region of technolgy where they want to grow. mid level toughness with regular tests and end sem combining the internal and external practical exams.

I always loved coding and learning about new technologies. Also, jobs in CS/IT department are paid high. The faculty and student ratio is on the medium side. Faculties are highly qualified from IIT and top private colleges. They are very helpful and have a great pedagogy.

Best college of uttrakhand

Remarks:

A very good college. There is no spoon feeding scene like that of private institute. As good ranking students are there you can have a good academic competition which will nurture your ability and groom to you be a better engineer.

I applied for this college only as my parents allowed for this one only as it is closer to my home. The college lacks a bit in terms of infrastructure as compared to other colleges in the region. The placements are not good enough. To take admission into Btech 1st year in this college, one needs to give JEE Mains exam and UKSEE for lateral entry and 12th merit is accepted for admission in Biotechnology.
