Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course and curriculam is nice . I found the syllabus also very detailed and interesting. I choose this course because I wanted to prepare for upsc civil services and various other competitive examination .faculty to student ratio is around 40 . All the faculties are either postgraduate or doctorate level . The exams are on time and in order to pass there is no difficulty. One can easily pass by reading past year question paper.

Internships Opportunities

4

There is no such internship opportunity I have availed but as per my knowledge there is one internship cell in college and various companies come to college for providing internship opportunities. Students used to sit in the cell and do that .

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is such that in every year we are required to pad admission fee on around rs. 13565 to college and before every exam examination fee of 510 to university. There in no hike of fees in past three years . College also provide fee waiver for ews student or who is in need based on recommendation of a committee.

Campus Life

4

The college campus is slightly small .there are one Library, a big playground, basketball court , volleyball court , one herbal garden , two canteen . Some classes are equipped with smartclass . Bolka are easily available in library and journals also . At college level various competitions inter college and intra college are organised . There are many society in college for the development of student working in various department. Ncc is also there . Annual fest is held around june .

Admission

The admission process was based on the final marks of class 12 . At firt after applying for Delhi University , colleges gave their cutoff and criteria , students fitting in that criteria as shown on website can apply to colleges . The college either accept or reject the form . You can also talk to the admission coordinator for admission related details But now the admission criteria is based on cuet examination .

The course curriculum is a bit too theoretical and less practical. The exams in the college takes places every month which are seasonals and are for internal marking and then we have semester exams in every 6 months which accounts for the external marking.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is really very interesting. It keeps up with our expectations. Involves both practical and theoretical aspects to make sure that we are able to face the real world. Also, with the help of the guidance that we get from teachers we're able to ace both the aspects. The examinations also are based on applications, thus, helping us to enhance ourselves in all possibilities.

The course offers many things for students interms of their further academic pursuits or any placement they are looking for. Talking about the areas of improvement and teaching methods there are none. The exams of the respective subject are to happen. They take test 1 , test 2 and there is final exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months
