"NIT Kurukshetra Chronicles: Pioneering Education and Innovation"

I chose this course because I was getting ECE , IOT and other below branches of NIT KURUKSHETRA. But I preferred IOT over Ece because it have syllabus related to cse and classes load is also less than ece. Also this branch IOT has bright scope in future. Faculty and students ratio is very good and it might be 1::25 All faculties are phd holders and have experience of atleast 7 years Term exams are not so much timely. Our mid sem 1 exams are conducted after 2 months and they are not so much difficult to pass.

For internship, I got offer from DRDO for role of a researcher for a project under the scientists of DRDO. I don't get any stipend but I got the certificate of internship and also the experience of working there which was priceless. I worked for projects related to some softwares for DRDO, the details of which I can not share because that is very confidential and its my duty to hide it.

From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. There a lot of companies visited like TCS, infosys, tech mahindra, HCL, adobe, american express and many more. Also no of offers were between 900 to 1000. Highest package is 75 lpa and average package is 15 lpa. 90% of students are getting placements. My plan is to get placement as software engineer.

The fees is not increasing so much every year. The fees taken is decently good nit so much high. Scholarships are also given to students with financially weak backgrounds and reserved categories. It's about 20k per semester.

Annual fest is Confluence and it is conducted in month of February. Tech fest is techspardha and it is conducted in the month of September generally. All types of books are available in Library from academic to non academic and also journals, newspapers, magazines and research papers are also available for student in library. Amenities in classroom :- Classroom are very good. Every Classroom is having ACs and fans. Also greenboards and smartboards available as well as desks are also comfortable. Sports Facilities are also good. There is facility of athletics, Table tennis, Chess, kabbadi, cricket, badminton, volleyball, basketball and many more. Extra curricular activities are also available so much. Social groups are Shiksha and Anamika. Also there is NSS in our college.

Room facilities include 2 ceiling fans, tables, chairs, balcony, almirah, bed. Meal quality is 4.1 out of 5 Menu includes so many things like chapati, roti, dahi, milk, tea, bread jam, poha, rasgulla, kheer, gulab jamun, etc. Registration process is very easy it's done in Hostel no 3. They will tell you everything. Hostels are affordable. I haven't rented any room or PG

Admission process was through Josaa counselling which allots you seat after you fill your preferences and on basis of cutoffs, number of seats available, etc. Eligibility of the course - Besed on score in JEE Mains. Application form is available on ntajeemains.nic.in Application fees was 3000rs Application dates are generally in month of January and April. No reservation benefits availed. I want to see improvement in admission process that the number of Josaa rounds should be less and process should be easy to understand. Also the fees of Josaa website should be decreased.
