Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I am fascinated towards new technologies. Faculties in our college are good. Regular classes are conducted and exams are held on time. If we are regular in classes and study a bit then it's not so difficult to pass term examination.

Placement Experience

I am not much aware about campus placements. Students are not made aware about that in our college. Majorly what I know is, campus placements starts in 4th year. Companies visits and interviews are conducted.Average package offered is 3-4 lakhs.

Fees and Financial Aid

It is a private college. Most of the times concerned about fees only. They apply late fees and other additional fees on anything possible. I got scholarship in my first year, although I was ensured that it would continue in all the upcoming years if I continue to have good process. Inspite of good result and attendance I got only 10% mandatory schlorship as a girl child. Rest 50% of my scholarship was terminated for no good reason. The worst part is they conduct no examination for schlorship neither they give it on their on.

Campus Life

Environment is good inside campus. There are no clubs to join in our college. Sport activities are conducted regularly. Classrooms are well maintained. Books and journals are present in libraries. We can issue books anytime we want.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are poor. Rooms are not good. Food is not good. Room cleaners don't clean room regularly. In mess, food is just tasteless. Only the hostel environment is what helps to sustain there. Else hostel facilities are not good, just a place where we are just surviving.

Hostel Fee: INR 78000 per year

Admission

I didn't appear for any entrance exam. My addmission was late, I got there by October and classes started 2 months ago in August. I gave no entrance exam, but my addmission was confirmed directly by my admission councellor.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts in Semester 7 and 8 for can say, in the last of graduation. HUL,TCS, Microsoft,JP Morgan and many huge companies visit campus for placements. Highest pakage in placement goes around 1.5 crore annually to lowest pakage around 8 LPA. Companies mainly comes for SDE role. But apart that few comes for PM, Data Science, Consulting profiles as well.

From the 7th semester you can sit on the placement drives.. Multiple companies visited like accenture,adobe,tcs etc. The percentage is little bit low this year..i have not much knowledge about it right now. I will try to get a good job.

Responsive faculty and well managed curriculum to focus on specific areas of each students to make them better in the region of technolgy where they want to grow. mid level toughness with regular tests and end sem combining the internal and external practical exams.

I always loved coding and learning about new technologies. Also, jobs in CS/IT department are paid high. The faculty and student ratio is on the medium side. Faculties are highly qualified from IIT and top private colleges. They are very helpful and have a great pedagogy.

Best college of uttrakhand

Remarks:

A very good college. There is no spoon feeding scene like that of private institute. As good ranking students are there you can have a good academic competition which will nurture your ability and groom to you be a better engineer.
