Likes
- I like here positive environment. Here teachers are very supportive. And fee is also good.
- Infrastructure is also good. Computer and lab facilities are also good. Student have easy access on labs.
- Extra activities are organised here on regular basis to make student active in other activites also.
Dislikes
- I dislike here that student should be placement from many big companies too. There is no such big company to hire students of our company.
- I dislike that there is no criteria to pay fee online, we have to wait in long line.
- I dislike that internships opportunities are less here.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I have an interest in the field of computers and technology so I went for it. There are many faculties in our college. But students are more than that. There are most of the students in the Btech field. Well when it comes to teachers, I can say teachers are well qualified educated, and experienced. In a sem, we have to give 2 midterms and one final exam. Exams are good, difficulty level is based on your preparation.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are less here. Companies like TCS are offered internships. We can make projects here and participate in hackathons too.. Students can take help from teachers also. I do not know many projects but Students in my college have made a racing car that also participated in racing.
Placement Experience
As I am in my second year I do not know much about placements. But I think students in my program are eligible for placement by 7 or 8 semester. Companies that visit here are Daffodil, Big Oh, Cloud Analogy, Benchmark Internet Group, Nucleus Software, and many more. The highest package is 40,00000 and Average Package is 1500000. My plan after getting a degree is to get placed in Google Company.
Fees and Financial Aid
Our fee is 1,25000 per year. In the first year, we got scholarships based on our 12 percentage or marks and girls' child too. After 1 year we get scholarships based on our first-year marks, if good then only you can avail. And we also get a 10% girls' child scholarship. And as I am in in my second year of college, so I do not have knowledge of jobs.
Campus Life
There are first fresher fest there for welcoming freshers. Then there is PINAK which is to be conducted every year for all programs in the college. There is a big library where we can go any time or get books to read. We can issue books we want to read. There are Sports events which are been conducted regularly among various colleges. and various extra activities like acting, Natak, dancing, and other activities. There are many sites but I know the name of one club as gdsc dbuu.
Admission
When I went for admission I did not have to take any entrance exam and many students did as well. I went through a sir who provided me with all the details about the college and helped me to fill application form as well. I think the entrance exams are for those whose marks exceed the limit. According to the marks in the 12 class, we have been provided the scholarships on our fee only for the first year. But for women, 10 % of scholarships are fixed for every year. I do not get any Reservation benefits. That is all how I got admission.
Interview Experience
When we are new then there are several orientation programs where teachers are there to help us with any problem we have or to make us familiar with the college environment. The process only involves filling out an admission form and paying a half or full fee. And then can join from the date given. There are no rounds to qualify.
