The friends I made in this college are great.
Library is good if we don't take timing as a factor
My csf teacher prabhjot kaur was great in teaching

Dislikes

Hostel is very bad ,it is like a jail from which you can't get outm
Mess is very bad you can't eat food here ,I was admitted in the hospital because of their food
Uniform and attendance, you have wear uniform and 75% attendance is mandatory.

Except csf faculty, every other faculty were worst, they simply don't have skills to teach , some are very rude, college just gave 1 day leave in between exam in endterm and mid term , they lied that library will open all night during exams but it was only opened in late light during endterm

I'm new to the college so I don't know about placement but , placements are very bad according to our seniors ,there are less to no placements this year , many of the seniors were rejected and many of them were not eligible for placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is pretty high considering college facilities and faculty, college does provide scholarships you can check that on their website , labs are not maintained and are old ,wifi is very slow , not at all value for money.

There is only one fest in a whole year that is youthopia , there was no freshers in this college they cancelled it at the end moment, there are clubs available in college, some of them are very active like gdsc.

Hostel Facilities

Never take hostel in this college, NEVER ! It is like a jail you can't go out ,your parents have to to mail them for outpass , sometime they don't even let you out even you let your parents talk to them, they have gym in which half of them don't work and half of them are very old ,and mess food is very bad tasteless and proteinless

Hostel Fee: INR 125000 per year

Admission

You can just come to college and you will get the direct admission , they will look if you have 60 percent plus in 12th and that's it but I would everyone to not take admission in this college specially their hostel

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts in Semester 7 and 8 for can say, in the last of graduation. HUL,TCS, Microsoft,JP Morgan and many huge companies visit campus for placements. Highest pakage in placement goes around 1.5 crore annually to lowest pakage around 8 LPA. Companies mainly comes for SDE role. But apart that few comes for PM, Data Science, Consulting profiles as well.

I always loved coding and learning about new technologies. Also, jobs in CS/IT department are paid high. The faculty and student ratio is on the medium side. Faculties are highly qualified from IIT and top private colleges. They are very helpful and have a great pedagogy.

Remarks:

A very good college. There is no spoon feeding scene like that of private institute. As good ranking students are there you can have a good academic competition which will nurture your ability and groom to you be a better engineer.

You can get various scholarships on the basis of your percentile in jee mains and your 12th percentage. It's around 100 percent for 90+ percentile in jee mains and 100 percent for 95+ in PCM in 12th.
