Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this college because I did not get any NIT IIIT . This college is very better than private colleges.The faculties are very good they are highly qualified doing PhD there teaching style is very good they clear every concept and solve doubts . There are 2 mid sem and end sem in a semester. The level of the exam is moderate not too easy or not different you can easily pass the exam.

Placement Experience

Placements are good in our college average package is around 12 lakhs after 7th semester you are eligible for placement. Almost 70% students are placed and get a job in different companies in the country.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of this college is 126000 per year which is very high for poor person but you can get loan easily for this college. College does not give any financial assistance.You can apply for your state government scholarship , NSP and other scholarships .If you will do hard work you can definitely get a good job

Campus Life

The campus life of this college is very good. The annual fest name is JNANAGNI in 2023 it is conducted between 30 November - 2 December 2023 . There are lots of events in the annual fest.There are lots of books in library you can easily take books from library.There are lots of sport activities like Cricket , football , volleyball , Table Tennis etc . There are lots of clubs some are Google Developer Club (GDSC) , communicode , cybersecurity club and etc .

Hostel Facilities

In the hostel room they provide all necessary facilities like fan , bulb etc . There are 2 seeter , 3 seeter and 4 seeter rooms are available rooms are good .The mess food is good . The registration process for hostel is you have to fill the hostel form pay the fees and you will get the room . You can PG or rent room in the city .

Hostel Fee: INR 55000 per year

Admission

The addmission process in this college is by JEE Main Rank through JOSAA and CSAB the cutt off of computer science is quite decent but for other branches cutt off is very low you can easily get admission in this college. The eligibility of the course is 4 years.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts in Semester 7 and 8 for can say, in the last of graduation. HUL,TCS, Microsoft,JP Morgan and many huge companies visit campus for placements. Highest pakage in placement goes around 1.5 crore annually to lowest pakage around 8 LPA. Companies mainly comes for SDE role. But apart that few comes for PM, Data Science, Consulting profiles as well.

aspects of curricullum that influenced my desicion to take admission: technical based courses are available. a well defined infrastructure. seperate buildings to involve in different regions of technology. available technical courses with updated and advanced syllabus with great faculty and seminars of different active clubs like google and microoft club. Responsive faculty and well managed curriculum to focus on specific areas of each students to make them better in the region of technolgy where they want to grow. mid level toughness with regular tests and end sem combining the internal and external practical exams.

Remarks:

A very good college. There is no spoon feeding scene like that of private institute. As good ranking students are there you can have a good academic competition which will nurture your ability and groom to you be a better engineer.

Life at Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya (GKV, Haridwar)

I choose this college because it is old esteemed deemed to be university. It is one of the oldest university in India with much good prestige in lists of college. It is internationally recognized good institution as stated by the government of India. It is NAAC accredated and also UGC funded university. It is purely boys college, no girls are allowed admission in this college. This institution is managed by the Arya Samaj with collaboration with the state government. It comes under GFTI. I got rejection from Delhi Technological University (DTU), Delhi. My JEE Mains rank was not as much as it was required to take admission into Delhi Technological University. I was not able to score better in my JEE Mains examination, so my JEE Mains rank was not sufficient to get a seat in this college.
