Likes

I very much like the society like the music society and the debating society
I like the diversity like the people's came from South India also and from north India some from east and some also from the nearby countries
Infrastructure also okay that library is very good with Modern infrastructure, lifts are present.

Dislikes

I dislike the quality of the sport grounds and their also very less sports which are available
The science building is very old and now it is not very helpful
Canteen is not very good it is very small and the menu is also very limited

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is very good and helpful. Starts from basic and make us advanced. Anyone can enroll in this course. I choose it because I love Geography. There are about 7 faculty members and 76 students. All faculties are PhD holders. Semester exam took place in every 6 months.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 14075 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is about 14000 per year plus about 3000 examination fees. Fees is increased by about 60% the year before. But still fees is not very high. Scholarship like NSP, Fees deduction by college etc. are available in college

Campus Life

Annual fest generally conducted in the month of the March and it is a very good type of fest because illuminai like Amitabh Bachchan cake so come there in the library there are aham to lakh book and around here and the classrooms are generally having fans and more than half having AC sport badminton and volleyball courts football ground. There are many society which are active like the MUSOC society for the music , dramatic society , debating society etc.

Admission

Eligibility was to attempt CUET UG exam with your subjects of 12th class and any one language. Application form is available at Website of NTA in the name of CUET. Registration fee was about 1500 in 2022-23. Time to register was about 2 months from opening date. I want that technical problems should be avoided.

I choose B.A from DU SOL because the course curruculmis exactly the same as regular DU colleges which gives degree strong crediblity for UPSC goverment jobs and further studies like M.A the syllabus is coprehensive and covers core subjects like histyory, poltical science and english litreature in detail

KMC and DU reality and my college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is a bit too theoretical and less practical. The exams in the college takes places every month which are seasonals and are for internal marking and then we have semester exams in every 6 months which accounts for the external marking.

The course i am engaged is BA HONOURS ENGLISH in DAULAT RAM COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY OF DELHI, the course offered is comprehensive, interesting and detailed. The faculty of English honours department is fully supportive of the students, the faculty members do not just give theory or bookish knowledge but also help us improve our communication in English language. We have studied many areas of literature within the course offered- ROMANTIC LITERATURE, EUROPEAN LITERATURE, INDIAN LITERATURE, AMERICAN LITERATURE, DALIT LITERATURE AND EVEN REGIONAL LITERATURE TRANSLATED IN ENGLISH. Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

DCAC- a summary of college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months

MY COLLEGE LIFE

Main exam was CUET. We should crack it with high marks... More than 98 percentile to get into the prestigious north campus of Delhi University. My college KMC comes under north campus and I'm really happy. I chose this college because it is one of the best for my course. It ranked 3rd in whole india for political science. I wanted it admission process is easy. After cuet results are published u have to fill csas portal. And you can see your rank and college allotted in the first round. The. Document verification. Afte that you will get gmail from the college and university. Cut off is almost 99 percentile in north campus. It's really difficult to get in. For humanities and commerce students choose DU.
