- If you have given JEE Mins or WBJEE exam then you are eligiblie for the course -If you are from west bengal then you can avail reservation benifits not for outer states -Admission process is done through counselling

Course Curriculum Overview

- I'm inrolled in B.tech in Electronics and communacations. - No. of students in ECE are 60. - Faculty members are also great. - As the college is under MAKAUT, exams are conducted in a very proper and timely manner.

-Currently I dont have my personal experience on insternship programs. - But as seen previsouly internships are avilable also paid internships. - Many of them do online internships also. - Companies like TCS, Infosys, Mahindra e.t.c gives oppurtunity for Internships.

Placement Experience

- From 4th year students are eligible for campus placements. - Many companies visits for campus placements and almost 60 % students gets placed. - higest package form ECE last year was 8.5 lacs and average package was around 5 lacs. - After doing B.tech you can do Masters form other colleges.

Fees and Financial Aid

- Fees structure of ECE is 6 lac 25 thousand approx - If the candidate belongs from West Bengal then you can avail SVMCM Scholarship progamee. Also you can get help through WB student credit card loan. - For outer state students they can avail their state scholarship programee.

Campus Life

- MSIT has a culural club called YUVA which organises fantastic annual fest or other cultural events. - Another Group for robotics is Megatronics which organises a fantastic events for tech fest. - Library is also big. -Many sports fest like MCL, MFL e.t.c are also held

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

THERE ARE FAR BETTER OPTIONS

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

I got this college by counselling as per my WBJEE rank. This was the best college I got according to my rank and was very good.
