Course Curriculum Overview
I had interest in this subject which was reason why I chose this subject . Geography as a subject is very interesting to study . The faculty members for geography in this College is one of the best in entire DU . They are highly qualified. And have even authored many well known books . They are too supportive and friendly also. The exams are conducted timely twice in 1 year . That is you have 2 semesters in 1 year . The exams are not at all difficult if you have studied well and paid attention in the class
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is comparatively low and easily affordable . This course fees was around 14000 Rs. You can get many national scholarships for study sich as the NSP -CSSS scholarship . The college itself provide scholarship or fee concession for the deserving candidates . There are many on campus as well as off campus placement and internship opportunities
Campus Life
The campus life is awesome to enjoy . You have a canteens , lawns , playground to hangover with your friends . The annual fest name is Renaissance which is a mega event organised by the student union. You also get an awesome freshers party both by the departments and the college union . The library and myriad numbers and variety of books which helps one academically. The reading room provided by the side of library also provide peaceful environment to study . You can read newspapers here also . Most of the classes are well ventilated and equipped with ac's so you don't feel uncomfortable in hot summers. You have projectors in all the classes. The sport complex and playground is quite large with almost all sport facilities. If you are a sports lover thos college calls you . For students than sport lovers there are a number of societies like debating, music , dancing, fien arts , drama etc. which polish your skills .
Admission
To be eligible you just have to pass 12 th in any stream . But you must have to give to give the CUET exam for English and any other 3 languages as I have . The admission is entirely merit based . The CUET exam is conducted by NTA . Later after giving the CUET exam you have to make a perference list for the colleges of DU. A good preference list makes it easy to get into a good college
