Course Curriculum Overview
The course is good and chill you have great opportunities in foreign countries and facilities are also good.There are two exams in a semester of 6 months 1st is the mid term and next is end term exams so 4 exams in a year on the basis of which your cg is decided.Exams are moderately difficult and If you maintain a cg of 8.5 it's more than enough
Internships Opportunities
The internship opportunities are good. If you work hard and you have good skills you can easily grab an excellent offer. A lot of companies visit IIT Roorkee to give internship opportunities, you name a company and it is there in the list.Some of them are Google, Microsoft, DeShaw,TCS etc...
Placement Experience
From the 7th semester the students are eligible for the campus placements.Almost all the companies visit the campus and according to the records in 2022 the no. Of offers were 1200+ at the time of recession highest among iits and in india
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees is same for all the courses at IIT it's around 3lacs per year there are a good opportunity of scholarships if are maintaining a good CG and education loan are at your doorstep.There is a good opportunity for campus jobs the average of chemical branch at IIT Roorkee is around 22 lacs and that of CSE is 35 lacs
Campus Life
IITs have the best life in India moreover the hostel Life is best.The infrastructure is just phenomenal the cultural fest is THOMSO which is the largest cultural fest of North Indian and the technical fest is cognizance. IIT Roorkee has the best coding culture in all the IITs and has the most number of Gsoc selections. Classrooms are wonderfull and fully air conditioned
Hostel Facilities
Hostel are good this is the oldest IIT so some of the hostels are old but are well maintained there are almost 23 hostel in IIT Roorkee for all the students of different courses.The quality of food is also best as compared to other iits
Admission
Ya! The admission is based on the toughest exam in India known as JEE Advanced you need to score a rank less than 8000 to get admission in IIT Roorkee. Anyone can find the application form from the official website of NTA where you will first give JEE Mains and the if you clear the cutoff then you are eligible for JEE Advanced . There is reservation for Gen EWS,OBC,SC,ST and female candidates
