Mainly we focus on study so that's why we engaged in study and training done by the college and college provides us many site visit

Campus is not much big as we expect there are no playground

This coarse is my choice because I want to become civil engineer nd faculties are much good as you expect All professors are mostly PhD holder nd some of them are experienced professor There was no difficult to pass if you have basic knowledge Cleared you are going to easily Clear this exam

Fee hiked previous year by 10k Approx all scholarship is provided by college Even there are special office and staffs for scholarship department There are Many big name company like ultratech and Jindal gives placement

Campus Life

There are annual fest and freshers party that is arranged by club and financed by college There are Central library so we can get all types of book related to coarse Classroom is good There are 3-4 clubs like Aloha yuva and Megatron

Admission

The eligibility is that you need to secure good Mark's in pcm in 12th board and you have to appear for wb jee and reservation is that if you are citizens of west Bengal then you can hold good rank For admission process online process should be done to avoid visiting college severe times

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

I got this college by counselling as per my WBJEE rank. This was the best college I got according to my rank and was very good.
