Dislikes
- Campus of MSIT, Kolkata. It is very small.
- No such fest is organizing here. Only Paridhi is famous.
- Canteen is vey bad and the food quality also.
Course Curriculum Overview
In this college studio ratio is near about 6:4(male:female). Professiors are also very humble and very much friendly to teach and clear out doubt. Maximum professors are Phd and some of are M.Tech. Overall environment is very good.
Internships Opportunities
In maximum cases our college does not provide you so many internships , but here campusing is done very well in 7/8th sem. But now in recession it's condition is also very bad. In avg 150 companies come in our college in a financial year.
Placement Experience
In a year near about 80% students got their job. But now in recession it's condition is very very bad. Till now only approx 20 students got job out of 150. Approx 150-160 companies are visiting each year.
Fees and Financial Aid
I have to pay total 4,86,800 for 4 year of my B.Tech. In each semester I have to pay 56,500. I also got SVMCM scholarship here, which helps me I lot. Here avg package is 4.5 lpa. But if you work hard and good in study, here big companies also come with package more than 10lpa.
Campus Life
Camous is very very small here. I thing this is the main disadvantage of this college. No so many fest are here, but tech fest mainly Paridhi(Official technial fest of MSIT,Kolkata) is very famous here. But classrooms are very well structured.
Admission
I got admission in this college via West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination,by getting 18876 rank . I got CSE department. If you get 22000 rank in WBJEE , you can easily get chance in CSE department at MSIT,Kolkata.
