Course Curriculum Overview

From my childhood I seen my career In technology field and I am bit excited in technology, so I choose computer science stream. Student faculty ratio , 2 cordinator per 70 students. There will be two term examination per year odd and even semesters

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 440000 per year

Placement Experience

College also provide placement option on campus,students from seventh semester are eligible for placement. Nowadays many companies visiting college campus for hiring -tcs,hcl,etc No such record of placement highest and lowest .

Fees and Financial Aid

Course fee will be same throughout every year and semester ni fees hike in between semester. Student can avail all the scholarship in which they are eligible. College also give some scholarship to female students or needy students.

Campus Life

Campus Life is not good there is also lack of female attraction as in engineering there wil be no female students. There will be one cultural,techanical and some more event organised in college. Also there will be freshers and farewell party every year Also there will be sports tournament every year. In campus there will Google club,ibm club and many students clubs.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is provided by the college management, hostel facility is good but the mess food is not much good.Srudents can select between 2,3,4 seater. There will be badminton court , basketball court and field inside the hostel

Hostel Fee: INR 52000 per year

Admission

Student whoever passed class 12 th examination with subjects physics, chemistry and maths can eligible to apply for the course. Application form and all its details are available on college website. Admission process is very smooth .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts in Semester 7 and 8 for can say, in the last of graduation. HUL,TCS, Microsoft,JP Morgan and many huge companies visit campus for placements. Highest pakage in placement goes around 1.5 crore annually to lowest pakage around 8 LPA. Companies mainly comes for SDE role. But apart that few comes for PM, Data Science, Consulting profiles as well.

aspects of curricullum that influenced my desicion to take admission: technical based courses are available. a well defined infrastructure. seperate buildings to involve in different regions of technology. available technical courses with updated and advanced syllabus with great faculty and seminars of different active clubs like google and microoft club. Responsive faculty and well managed curriculum to focus on specific areas of each students to make them better in the region of technolgy where they want to grow. mid level toughness with regular tests and end sem combining the internal and external practical exams.

I always loved coding and learning about new technologies. Also, jobs in CS/IT department are paid high. The faculty and student ratio is on the medium side. Faculties are highly qualified from IIT and top private colleges. They are very helpful and have a great pedagogy.

Remarks:

A very good college. There is no spoon feeding scene like that of private institute. As good ranking students are there you can have a good academic competition which will nurture your ability and groom to you be a better engineer.

Life at Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya (GKV, Haridwar)

I choose this college because it is old esteemed deemed to be university. It is one of the oldest university in India with much good prestige in lists of college. It is internationally recognized good institution as stated by the government of India. It is NAAC accredated and also UGC funded university. It is purely boys college, no girls are allowed admission in this college. This institution is managed by the Arya Samaj with collaboration with the state government. It comes under GFTI. I got rejection from Delhi Technological University (DTU), Delhi. My JEE Mains rank was not as much as it was required to take admission into Delhi Technological University. I was not able to score better in my JEE Mains examination, so my JEE Mains rank was not sufficient to get a seat in this college.
