Course Curriculum Overview
I chose electronics and communication engineering because you apply for both core and software compaines unlike computer science you can ony apply for software companies. Facility:Student ratio is not bad nor good i would say but it is moderate. Qualification of the faculty: Most of the Faculty have done their PHD from IITS or NITS and a few have done from aboard.As of the teaching method i would say some are good and some know everything but they don;t know how to explain in simple terms. In 6 months you will finish a semester, within 2.5 months your mid sem will be conducted .If you study with full focus of about a week you can score a decent pointer.
Internships Opportunities
GOOGLE Step inteship, Amazon, SAP , Paytm etc.You should learn some development such as web or android or you can learn machine learning so that you can have atleat one project.And be confident on what the things you do, stick on one thing and don;t come under the influenve of another peoples influence.
Placement Experience
Campus placements starts for 4th year students and some gets PPo during their intership during their 3rd year itself. Compaines are: Amazon, Microsoft,Atlassian etc as of 2023 highest placement is of 53 LPA. Average package stands at 14 LPA. More than 90%+ students get placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
There was no fee hike as of now. But the hostel fee has hike some what due to the icreasing price of the food products. You can get scholarship such as for ST scholarship for st student,and NER scholarship for north-east student and many more.If you learn some skills you earn from 1 year itself.
Campus Life
Annual fest: Incandescense. Tech fest : Technoics in the coming moth in February. You can find books in library and you don;t need to buy any books as you can issue book from the library itself. Basic thinks are all there in the classroom and projector can also be found. You can play every game ,there is a sport complex in the campus. Social groups,Clubs for students run by students: GDSC,dance club,sympho.nits,etc.
Hostel Facilities
All facilities such as fans, cupboards , fans , table chairs are provided in the room. The quality of meal are good as compared to other college hostel. It is very easy for registration it is done during registration itself through sbi collect. Most of the people stay in the hostel itself as you are living in engineering college.
Admission
To be elegible for the course candidates have to be passed the class 12 or equivalent exam in Physics,chemistry and Mathematics with not less than 75% aggregate marks to appear for JEE. Candidates have to clear JEE mains examination at first with a good percentile atleast 95+ percentile. The application form can be found in the NTA website.JEE mains 2024 registration fee will be different for Male and Female candidates.General male candidates have tp pay RS 1000 while female students must pay Rs 800. The JEE Mains reservation percentage is available for candidates belonging to various categories as follows: GEN-EWS-10%,OBC-NCL-27%,SC-15%,ST-7.5% and PwD-5%,including persons with disability. No i think there is no need any improvement i want to see in the admission process,as the current admission process is good but you have to regularly check when the seat is alotted.
