review on nit calicut

the course and curriculum faculty are good some faculty are very good. they help all the people who have interest in the subject.The course curriculum is good by this year i.e from our juniors as they have started the course related topics directly in first year while for us they have started in the 2nd year which is somewhat bad compared to our juniours.

the placements in our college is good.from 6th sem students are eligible for the placements and by every means we say taht you can get a campus placement for sure and off campus placements are also available which are full supported by the managements.some big companies like oracle visited our campus and they practically select some students every year confirmly.

the fees are very high compared to the other nits which i would say is a big drawback in this college.they have compensation for peopl whose family income below 5lakhs etc but still for those who dont have will face trouble. They are providing scholarship whiich are good and are helpful to many people

the life in college is very good in many ways.there are totally 2 fests in the college conducted each year which are ragam and tathva .ragam is the cultural fest and tathva is the te ch fest. both are celebrated for three days.these fests are pretty good.there is a 24/7 availability of the library as the library is open and it has pretty much everybook we want but the quantity of each book is a bit less.Due to which not every student is unable to get.classrooms are good.sports and extra curricular activities are fully supproted by the college management.and yiur participation in sports are very appriciated and you will not get any problem in the academics due to sports

rooms are given with good facilities. the almarah are good,they provide mirror etc needed stuff in the hostel itself.but there are can be some water problem in the hostel and also no heaters are available in the hostels.meals are good they provide you with good no of messes due to which we can try different types of foods. they provide like different messes for north indian style and south indian style etc.registration process for hostel is very easy and no problem occured any where.the affordability is a bit problem it is a little bit high and the high is reasonable

for admission I craked the jee mains exam. the admission process was good. no trouble faced. all went according to the process explained by them in the college site.For the application form everything they have been kept in ther college site. generally they ask us to submit 6 affidavites which submit about the acceptance of the code of conduct from the student which is basically like the anti ragging,and accepting all the rules mentioned there.there are many reservation benefits for sc,st,homestate. as i am not from home state and my only reservation which is OBC it is not very used in any ways in the fees term or anything.but for the people whose family income is below 5 lakhs they have a desent amount of benefits in the college.for other people the college is providing all benifits etc.in the admission process some got the hostel room mentioned before only and some got at the place andd I think everybody should get the hostel room detailes before only.
