Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because i was landed in a confusion of taking durgapur ece or nit calicut eee. I generally prefer ece but after verying the faculties surroundings and facilities my mind got changed to chose nit calicut eee.this is how i landed here

Class Size: 43Course Fees: INR 52000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Many companies like goldmansachs oracle texas bajaj microsoft many come for both internship and placements they also give ppos during intership period only.the placment cell is still trying to bring more companies i think its fine here

Placement Experience

The companies coming for placements are nice like oracle Microsoft goldmansach etc for coding and for core of electrical and electronics we have texas,bajaj,bosch etc.for cse 100 percent placements,ece 98 eee 98 mech 95 etc

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee is differenet for different persons i mean based on reservation there will be waver for different reservations.u can even avail shcolarship like FFE,ONGC etc.we can even get loans as it is nit.And even the campus have good placement companies like texas oracle for core and goldmansach microsoft etc for coding

As u all guys already know the south indias 2nd largest tech and cultural fests tathva and ragam are our main fest.thise days will be best of our life u enjoy pronites l,games,food stalls,dj wot not everything.regarding sports they have gud trainers.

Hostel Facilities

For first years they will be allotted in A and B hostelsand 4 per room.and for 2nd and 3rd years they call mega hostels room are excellent and per room 2 members.rwgarding final year 1 per room in pg c d e f hostels

Hostel Fee: INR 6500 per year

Admission

We enter this clg through jee mains.the detailed process will be given in nitc website.I have availed the gen ews reservation benefits i e fee waver in clg fee.i think the admission process is good and even most of the thing will be through online

OUR COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

I chose this college because of strong reputation , good placements and quality of education. I applied to other NITs and state engineering colleges and received some admissions,but selected this college because I preffered Electrical Engineering. In some higher ranked colleges, I was getting lower-preference branches,so I chose a good branch in a good college instead. Admission is based on the JEE Main score through JoSAA counselling. Details Of NITC

I have choosen this college because it is of top 5 NITs and i am getting a good branch. I have apllied for remaining top nits also, but i got this for my jee mains rank( i couldn't make to other top nits because may be of lack of good preperation for jee). When compared to remianing NITs, this college has everything that every other NIT also have, the sports facilities here can be improved. Life at NITC by Vimosh Kumar

I wanted to get into Mechanical Engineering in any of the top NIT's so applied for all the NIT's in the NIRF ranking order with mechanical in every college so after the counselling happened to get into NIT Calicut. The admission process is through JoSAA Counselling where students come to the college after getting alloted but before that the student needs to clear the JEE Main Exam to get admitted into the college.
