A brief about NITC

I chose this course because it's very highly soughted and valued by many companies, so it would helpful in my career and placements. The faculty quality is very good. All the professors are highly qualified and efficient in their teaching methods. Every year the curriculum is improved based on the overall growth and development of the students. There would be two main exams: mid sem and the end sem for the externals. We also have many assignments, projects, quizzes as a part of the continuos evaluation which are counted as internal marks.

There are mainly three types of internships available for the students i.e, coding, core and management internships. Every student can choose their field according to their interest. Students are expected to be well prepared for the various tests given by the companies.

Students are eligible for internships after their 2nd year summer holidays. Many companies approach our college for both internships and placements. We have a high placement ratio. The average package is around 13 lpa while the highest package is around 70 lpa

The fee structure for each student is based on the annual financial status of the individual student. Student from reserved category also avail fee reimbursement. Also there are scholarship options like NSP and FFE. We have a very high rate of placement every year. Almost 90 percent from our branch get placed every year.

We have one fest each for both technical and cultural fields. They are very well organised and generate very high revenue every year. We have a very sophisticated and helpful library system where we can either get books or study through the digital library system. We are also highly active in sports. We have various sports and individual coaches for each of them. They prepare the talented for various tournaments. We also have many technical and cultural clubs which help the students to improve their skills and also help them in recreation

We have various hostel blocks which are organised and seperate hostels for UG and PG students. Each hostel has its own mess available but students can choose any mess they like which are available in the campus. The menu is good and is designed keeping the students diversity of states in mind.

To join the college, we need to write the JEE competitive examination. One can apply for it through the official website of jee. Among the NIT's , you can choose your college and branch and you will be selected based on your rankings. There will be special reservation benefits like seperate seat allotment category. The entire process is efficient and simple for students to understand.
