Course Curriculum Overview

4

I choose this course as I have a interest to this subject, then you can do masters after that to get good jobs, you can prepare for some other exams as its not to tough to prepare for the exams. Each classroom consist of 50-80 students. Faculties are well educated form reputed institutes, the way of teaching is very good and they give time for your doubts. If you spend daily 2-3 hrs for this course you are more than enough to get good marks.

Internships Opportunities

4

The college helps students to get internships during their course of study, providing valuable experience and exposure to the professional world. After that you will be permanent employee to the company and earn good returns.

Placement Experience

4

The college has a placement cell which help students in finding employment opportunities. This cell organize campus recruitment drives, workshops, seminars, and training sessions to prepare students for the job market. The average package is arounf 2-3.5 lakhs per annum. Near about 70-80 students placed every years. After that you can do jobs or you do further studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

As its a goverment institute they take less fees. My yearly fees is around 6875 and some taxs. If you opt for hostel some more money will be added. The university also give scholarship to the poor children, which you can apply through college website by providing the details. The placements are also good, you need to good in some skills to get better jobs.

Campus Life

4.5

College organises a variety of activities and events throughout the academic year, such as cultural festivals, academic competitions, sports tournaments, and social gatherings. They provide access to libraries, computer labs, sports facilities, and other amenities likely enhances the overall college experience, providing students with the resources they need to succeed academically and personally.

Admission

According to the 12th board result, a cutoff list was released on the university's website. By seeing those cutoff student need to fill form for tha partcular college which is available on the college's website and submit that form to the college. There is a information brochere available on college's website through which they can know about fees, last date, courses etc. Every colleges provides reservations for SC,ST,OBC,EWS and for girls, which you can know by reading that brochere. Because its a admission through cutoff, you need to be early bird to take admission to the college as seats are limited, cutoff may fluctuate etc. There is huge no of student apply for these college so its better you try to get as early as possible.

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

The course is really very interesting. It keeps up with our expectations. Involves both practical and theoretical aspects to make sure that we are able to face the real world. Also, with the help of the guidance that we get from teachers we're able to ace both the aspects. Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months
