I applied to a few other enginnering colleges in my region that offered Btech programs . I recieved confirmed admission offers from a couple of them as well . However, I chose WIT as I felt overall learning atmosphere here aligned better with my goals for teamchnical growth and career development. The admission procedure here is simple the candidate must have completed 10+12 with physics chemistry and maths. The college accepts JEE main , state level entrance exams like UPSEE or other state technical exams and also considers direct admission based on merit depending on seat availability. Compared to private colleges like VIT or SRM, the overall fee structure and also it is government college much more affordable and government colleges have much more priorities. I missed cutoff of jee mains by a small margine and couldn't secure a seat in top tier colleges. also, private colleges are very expensive. I applied for Delhi University and I took admission in uttrakhand technical university because this college is government approved. No i didn't get rejection from other colleges but didn't got enough score to take admission in Delhi University.
