- Infrastructure The infra here is well built and well maintained be it hostels labs or library.
- Seniors The seniors here are quite supportive and help out the juniors in all ways possible

- No of students The intake of students is quite high due to which many times serious students fall in wrong habits
- Fees Even though the college has ample opportunities the fess is quite high for that if financial problems are there
- Management The college has strict in time policies and the management is quite rigid
Course Curriculum Overview
Course is up to date and provides knowledgeable insights into the technology relevant at the time along with that teachers are very interactive and engaging thus making the environment fun and good to learn.
Internships Opportunities
Companies like JP Morgan, BlackRock,Barclays, Microsoft and Adobe visit the campus for internship opportunities for the students and the stipend ranges from around 50 to 75k for the internships.Projects like web dev for events of societies helps in further internship chances.
Placement Experience
Campus placements are easily available for the students in the 6th semester be it both PPO or on campus offers. Companies like apple, JP Morgan ,DE Shaw , Microsoft and Google frequent the college with a wide variety of portfolios and the highest package offered ranges from 50 lpa to 60lpa while the average being 12 lpa across all branches. Around 70% percent students are placed on campus
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees hike fee annum is around 10 percent and also the overall course fee is about 27 lakh rupees. Moreover to provide financial help scholarships from the institues side are available ranging from full tuition fees remittance to half tuition fees remittal making it easier and better for hardworking students to do well.
Campus Life
The annual fest saturnalia is a three day fest conducted in the month of October and a lot of buzz is there in campus around it. The library here is well equipped with both scholarly and reading books for students to choose from. The classrooms are equipped well with monitors screens and ventilation systems making it a fun learning environment. The sports infra is also very good.
Hostel Facilities
The rooms here are well built and equipped with up to date amenities the hostel for first year students is equipped with Split AC,an almirah,a single bed and study table for the boys and is 2 seater one other room types like 3 sharing are also available for first year boys. The meals are privately owned and provide a wide variety of food to choose from and also provides a healty and better food as compared to government colleges. The hostel registration starts once the applications for registration are finalised and admissions are done.
Admission
First a form was filled where they asked the JEE percentile along with board percentage and later results were declared on the basis of percentile cutoff and board cutoff. The application details can be easily found on the thapar official website
Other Applied Colleges
Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University - [GGSIPU] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)
Thapar provided a better platform and better peer group as compared to ipu along with better infrastructure and brand name therefore I opted for thapar rather than ipu
