Because I like this course and I found this course is good in this institute so I took this course ,the teacher and student ratio is 1:35 The faculty is very experienced and teaching method is good, there is mid term and endsem exam .

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee policy for this college is very beneficial and for sc/ st students there is some reservations is available.and there are many scholarships for every student's which is good and beneficial for students.

Campus Life

Ragam is the cultural fest and tathva is the tech fest of nitc. Ragam is conducted in the month of April and tathva is conducted in October. Nitc library is fully stacked and completly digitalized. They have online books also but some books are reserved and cannot be accessed. Classrooms have projector and blackboard

Hostel Facilities

Room basically provides a fan bed and almirah. Rooms are airy and of appropriate size Meal quality is alright. North Indian as well as South Indian food is available all week. They provide meals three times a day and snacks with tea in the evening

Admission

For this course you should be in 12 or dropped , there is a exam jee main is held for taking admission in this course u can find form in jee mains website and there is a reservation Kota is also available for sc/st PWD and for girls also

Interview Experience

•Test mainly consisted of physics chemistry and maths questions of grade 11th and 12th. They were one level above board exam questions and the format was Multiple choice and integer type • we have to give jee mains examination which is a national level engineering entrance exam.

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

I chose this college because of strong reputation , good placements and quality of education. I applied to other NITs and state engineering colleges and received some admissions,but selected this college because I preffered Electrical Engineering. Details Of NITC

I have choosen this college because it is of top 5 NITs and i am getting a good branch. I have apllied for remaining top nits also, but i got this for my jee mains rank( i couldn't make to other top nits because may be of lack of good preperation for jee). When compared to remianing NITs, this college has everything that every other NIT also have, the sports facilities here can be improved. Life at NITC by Vimosh Kumar

I wanted to get into Mechanical Engineering in any of the top NIT's so applied for all the NIT's in the NIRF ranking order with mechanical in every college so after the counselling happened to get into NIT Calicut. The admission process is through JoSAA Counselling where students come to the college after getting alloted but before that the student needs to clear the JEE Main Exam to get admitted into the college.
