NITC - The true life here

1) The course curriculum is very good. The curriculum had been declared on 2017 which is followed till now. Recently, there was a change in curriculum i.e, in the year 2023. 2) Faculty student ratio is quite good. Some courses have very good interaction with faculty having 1 faculty for 10 students. Our courses have an average of 1 faculty for 50 students. 3) Our faculty qualification was so good. There was some faculty who had published there own books. Dr. Suresh Kumar sir had published his own books. There are dedicated faculty, who guide us through many phases. 4) We will be provided with FA's(Faculty Advisor) who will take care of our 4 year journey and guide us. 5) The end sem exam will be at end of April and end of November. The mid sem will be at end of February and at end of September. For the internals there will assignment submission or small class tests.

1) The internships which were on drive during my internship drive - ORACLE - 100000/month - BAJAJ - 29500/month -ARCESIUM - 125000/month - P&G - 150000/month - ATLASSIAN - 130000/month - SALES FORCE - 150000/month - DEUTSCHE BANK - 75000/month - TEXAS - 60000/month - DESHAW - 150000/month - INTUIT - 100000/month - AMWAY - 30000/month - BIS - 20000/ month - TRILOGY INNOVATIONS - 90000/month - GOLDMAN SACHS - 150000/month - TVS - 25000/month - LINKEDIN - 75000/month these are some of the companies and stipend. 2) The projects that I had done in my 3 year college are - LINE FOLLOWING ROBOT CAR - LIGHT SENSING DIODE

1) Students of sem 5 are eligible for internships. Students of sem 7 are eligible for job placements. 2) The companies which visited for our internships are: -Oracle -Texas -TVS -Bajaj -Goldman Sachs -Accenture -BIS -Intuit -Trilogy -Deutsche bank -AMWAY -Amazon -Arcesium -Atlassian And many more nearly more than 50 companies visited. 3) Our serious got placements in a lot of companies includin above other companies like Reliance, Carl zeius, Microsoft etc include a lot of big companies. 4) The highest package as of now is 38LPA and average package is around 10 LPA. 5) As per records of last year CSE -100% ECE - 94% EEE - 93% MECH - 93% these will be taken by software and core companies but companies for non core departments such as civil, chemical is less . But there are students who got highest packages from chemical too. 6) I am planning to work in software company because I was personally interested in coding and software development. If not I would also be writing GATE.

1) The prices will not be hiked for a particular 4 year course. So we will be having same fess as of our first year. But where as our juniors have got a hike in there fees. 2) Since I am an EWS category student I didn't have any scholarships. But my friends belonging to SC,ST got some scholarships such as NSP. 3) Also there will be some scholarships from reliance and some coding tests. 4) Coming to the placements, At the end of 2nd year internship drive will be started where a lot of companies such as JP.Morgon, Goldman Sachs,Texas,BIS,etc which provide a decent average stipend of 50000 per month. 5) Placements take place at end of 3rd year, Where our seniors got an average of 13CTC with a highest package of 38LPA in Texas.

There are many activities in the campus. Coming to the fests there are 2 fests which are top in south india. 1) Ragam:- It happens around in April month. It is one of the biggest fest. It will have 3 proshows a lot of food stuff and games. Last time Shreya goshal, a singer is one of the proshows guest. 2) Tathva:- It happens generally in October or November. It is the biggest tech fest in south india. Events such as ROBO WARS, CAR SHOW, GAMES LIKE VR,PRO SHOWS,WOKSHOPS,FOOD STALLS, all re insane. 3) Small activities like DJ, Dance nights,Navaragam etc alot takes place in the campus. 4) The library had a lot of books which include in 3 floor building. It is one of the biggest library. Books will be available in a large count. 5) Class rooms of some departments such as CSE, CHEMICAL, IT are good but where as some departments class OF EEE,ECE, should be improved in infrastructure. 6) Coming to the Sports there are a lot of games include volley ball, hockey, football, etc

1) Hostel facilities are not much good some time there will be no availablity of water, current etc. 2) There will be mirror, fan, a cot provided in the room. 3) There are 3 messes for our hostel in which I prefer 2 of them. The food quality will be good. But beware the food will be spicy. So it will be difficult for students who have difficulty in taking spicy food. 4) The hostel registration is simple. Just we should go to hostel office show our identity card and take our new hostel occupancy card. 5) If we want to rent a Pg room there will be some rent rooms near to college that is at kattangal which is 1.5 km from college. It also preferred to take pg room in kunnamangalam but the distance will be 6km from college.

1) The admission process is via jee mains. I had not taken any further entrance exam at the college. 2) I had got the eligibility via EWS category which I got a all india rank of 1600. 3) Firstly the application form should be mailed to the college authorities and then during physical reporting we should show them the hard copy. 4) Yes, there should be a lot of improvement we had to wait from afternoon to evening. They can manage in more efficient manner than we experienced.
