Course Curriculum Overview
Engineering opens door to many different fields. In civil engineering there are 160 students , divided into two sections A and B each consisting of 80 students. All faculties are well qualified. Mostly are from premiere institute of India. They have good knowledge of their subjects but some lacks the efficient way of teaching. I have three scheduled exams . First is midsem exam , second is minor test and then endsem exam .Focusing on course coordinator wil get you good marks .Some question papers are actually tough like Engineering mechanics. But solving pyqs also helps.
Internships Opportunities
The companies that give intenships in nit silchar are amazon , bijus , tcs etc .. and some local companies. The offer a average stipend of 30000 and maximum of intenship is from high it sector areas . In intenship we take many projects and make them successful.
Placement Experience
Students are elligible for campus interviews from 7th semister . The companies visited to our collage are amazon , bijus , tcs etc.. and many offers were received . The highest paccage in civil engineering is 27 lpa and average package was arount 8 . Nearly 85 percent students get placed in which 105 students got placed out of 120. Ny plans after getting degree is to get well placed in campus interview and become a best civil engineer.
Fees and Financial Aid
According to me the tution fee structure should not be increased because many of the students council nit's ,iit's ,iiit's and gfti's for mainly placements and secondly for less amount of fees. The complete cost of your feeses are (open category) tution fees of 65,100 ,mess fees of 25,500 and hostel fees of 10,000 .( for one semister ). The scholarships for students are mainly nsp the amount we receive of 40,000 , releance , fifa ,etc.. In our college responsibilities are taken by students the main groups like ncc and nss take responsibilities and these does not get any money .
Campus Life
There are mainly two fests in our collage which are tecnoesis and incandense . The both the fests were conducted in February. Nit silchar has the top most literary which has a large range of books collections and all the books related to accademics are present and present in a large amount so more students can get books . In nit silchar civil engineering has the best faculty and the faculty members are highly experienced. There is also technological provision within class rooms. Our collage contains all the sports for performing and collage management encourages the students to patispate in sports and sends students for inter nit matches. All the social groups are runned by students. These are mainly runned to pass official information.
Hostel Facilities
Our hostel provides nice facilityes and each room has a sleeping capacity of 2 members and the washroons are maintained hygienically and every room contains balcony. Mess in our hostel provides high quantity of food and non veg is provided 5 days a weak and food contains large amount of proteins. The registration process is very easy and less time taken AND it is highly affordability for students. My hostel room is located in nit silchar , beside nit road ,aryabhatta.
Admission
I cracked JEE MAINS 2023 . Eligibility :- 12th pass with 75% aggregate marks or in top 2%ile of respected board. All information regarding Application form date and fees is available on official website of nta.nic.in .As NTA is conducting body of the entrance exam. There are reservation benefits, according to your category. Improvement i want to see :- Admission process can be made more transparent by paying first semester fees directly to taken college instead of paying to JOSAA or CSAB .And during Counselling we only have to pay Counselling fees to JOSAA or CSAB.
