Course Curriculum Overview
i am very excited in the coding ,thats why i have choosen this course. our academic sections are too good and they are very friendly they will guide you ,they will support you. in this cse branch u need to improve your coding skills especially data structures, machine learning etc. in my college the exams in conducted in two seperate exams.one is mid semester and another is end semester .mid semister contains 30 marks.end semester conatins 50 .out of 100 ,80 marks are completed remaining 20 marks are given to attendance and assignments given in my class.in btech attendance is the most crucial thing if your attendance is more than 75% u will get 10 marks free.no need to work for that 10 marks
Internships Opportunities
amazon ,microsoft this much bigger compaines offering internships in my college. the stifund is decent . if you are very good in during internship period they will recuite you directly to their company
Placement Experience
from 3 year 2nd semester students are eligible for the campus placements. amazon, flipkart, microsoft, capegemini, tech mahindra etc. highest package was 80 lpa and the average package was 24lpa. 95-98% every student will get placement. my another goal to prepare for civil services.
Fees and Financial Aid
the fee structure of my college is decent . there are no harsh fees . there are many scholarships are available in the college. that scholarships provides nearly 40000 to any person (no category) .the cost of complete education is nearly 700000-800000. nsp scholarship gives 12000 for general category students. FFE scholarship gives 45000 for any category students. i am pursuing 1st year in my college ,actually i doesnt have much complete knowledge on placements ,but in our campus placements are decent and average lpa for cse students is 2400000.
Campus Life
there are two fests ,1.technosis 2.incandescence one is techinal fest and another is cultural fest.nit silchar has the asia largest digital library ,u can find some many books in our libarary. in any faculty people just teaches the topic we need to focus on the remaining part ,u need to ask some questions they will give you guidance. sports are really good. they are nesrly 5-6 grounds we can play anything. ncc and nss, yoga ,self defence these are the extracurricular activities offered by the campus.
Hostel Facilities
actually i am in first year they provided a single room for me. it is very nice .i am able to study in my room without any disturbance. meal quality is not much good .actually i am from south india ,north indian items are not much good than south food ,so i felt like that. hostel affordability is too good. my hostel name is boys hostel -3 opposite to the aryabhatta hostel,nit silchar.
Admission
There is a criterion for eligibility for this course in nit Silchar. first, you have to score a better rank in jee mains. later they are eligible to apply an admission to the college. all the application forms, fees, dates regarding any other things we need to check the official website of my college www.nits.ac.in You will find everything on that website. yes, there are reservations such as obc, SC, st, EWS,pwd etc these students can get reservation benefits. exams are not very difficult moderate level. but you need to focus on the coding skills only. I will say only one thing to any person institute does not matter only the student matters. if a student believes himself he can do anything. that's it, if you are not cracked the jee mains .oh my life is ended dont think like that be positive accept everything .and make sure an alternative for your career.
