In terms of relevance, the curriculum is regularly updated to reflect thr latest develoopments in various industries. Recently whole academic curriculum has been updated as per the new education policy. IIT Roorkee is the first institute to apply NEP to its curriculum.

IN the first year rooms are typically equipped for double occupancy while from second year onwards rooms transists to single occupancy offering more privacy and independance.
Admission
Admission process to IIT Roorkee through the JEE enterance exam was quite rigorous. The applicatioin process involved filling out detailed forms, submitting necessary documents, and paying the required fees with the specifies deadlines. The JEE exam itself is challanging and requires through preparation in subjects linke physics, chemistry and maths.
