Course Curriculum Overview
the course cirriculum is tailored based on your nedds we have different tpoics for diffent branches under the same subject ,also you will find that some topic overlap around the different courses that you will study .Nevertheless be patient and you will figure out the requirement of every course over time . also some coouses are not required at all such as evs and comm skils class
Internships Opportunities
intershipp opportunities has seen a downhill in the previous year .The cse branches arewell off in this respect but the other branches have to work tooth and nail to get decent internship opportuities.
Placement Experience
Our collage boasts one fo the highest campus placements in india ,the placement cell of ur collage works very hard to make this happen and the results are commendable .But there is still scope of improvement .The placement for this year wasnt s good compared to past years but once in a time this situation prevails .
Fees and Financial Aid
the collage charge 132000 for 1 semester and there are in total of 8 semesters .As of now there is scholarship based on merit but the process is very tedius .campus employment oppprtunities is very best in india and the average placement is around 177000 but the intern isnt very good in terms of finances but great for experience
Campus Life
Life in collage is something most kids thnk about they dream of a rosy life in collage.And making friends in collage is a fun thing ,they support you and you support them ..maybe thats the case or perhaps you just enjoy their company .Clubs are an important streams for making friend with common interrests .Clubs in iitr are classified under tech ,cultural ,and sports .
Hostel Facilities
hostels have very bad condition in iitr especially for 1st and 2nd and 3rd and 4th years of btech .The rooms seems to be worse than slums of dharavi and the bathrooms are useless, its better to go into the bushes for releif. kids of 1st year have to share rooms with 2 guys and the sophmores have to share their room with one enemy Ooverall the experience is bad and deplorable .The food is edible though which is a good thing .Hope the system changes and we witness improvement in hostels ...but it is a pipe dream
Admission
the admission is sanctioned after you qualify the enterance exam called jee advanced if you can score decent marks and place in the top 5000 or so you can get into some branch or the other.also the cutoff for electricall in 2022 was around 130 marks and around 2000 (based on rank) .you can become eligible for a course if you can score the cutoff rank for the branch,,after the exam is over you can find the application in the joscca councelling website ,and after the councelling is over you would get the result either if you are enrolled or not.Be wary the admission process is very long and your preferencces could change in the midst so think carefully before you apply.
