Likes

I liked the helping peoples of my hostel who always helps us for any kind of problems . There are two famous places for picnic.
I liked the college campus which is enough big.
The faculty is well educated and not only focusing on theoretical knowledge they provides us practical knowledge

Dislikes

The climate of pauri affects poor healthy conditions.
Sometimes we have to face water related problems.
For meal we have to cover long distance college to hostel.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because I had great interest in technical courses Where practical knowledge given us . The student ratio of boys and girls Is more number of boys in the class.The faculty is well qualified and their Teaching method is very great.

Fees and Financial Aid

Talking about the fee structure fees of government colleges are low camparing to private colleges but some students are not able to afford money because of their financial assistance. Schorships are merit cum based so it is difficult to grab scholarships.

My overall experience of campus life is good . I don't even stayed without my family before this , campus hostel Life teaches me to live myself . The college provides a wide view of socialism , this teaches us various social aspects . I like the campus of the college.

Hostel Facilities

Overall Hostel facilities are good . I have provided a bed table for study a almira and a chair and a lovely balcony . In first year we live 3 in a big room . Sometimes I not likes the mess food because of my habit of home food.

Hostel Fee: INR 18480 per year

Admission

I give jee mains examination and get into this college with utu councelling . The course is btech and the branch which I wants in this college is ece . So as the councelling is completed I get ece branch in GBPIET pauri college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts in Semester 7 and 8 for can say, in the last of graduation. HUL,TCS, Microsoft,JP Morgan and many huge companies visit campus for placements. Highest pakage in placement goes around 1.5 crore annually to lowest pakage around 8 LPA. Companies mainly comes for SDE role. But apart that few comes for PM, Data Science, Consulting profiles as well.

I always loved coding and learning about new technologies. Also, jobs in CS/IT department are paid high. The faculty and student ratio is on the medium side. Faculties are highly qualified from IIT and top private colleges. They are very helpful and have a great pedagogy.

Remarks:

A very good college. There is no spoon feeding scene like that of private institute. As good ranking students are there you can have a good academic competition which will nurture your ability and groom to you be a better engineer.

-i have no choice to choose other college because my jee rank was not so good and in private college there fee structure is very high so I have to choose this college over other colleges. -yes i am rejected by many college because my jee rank was too low to get there admission. - you have to clear jee mains exam to get admission in my college. I applied for this college only as my parents allowed for this one only as it is closer to my home. The college lacks a bit in terms of infrastructure as compared to other colleges in the region. The placements are not good enough. To take admission into Btech 1st year in this college, one needs to give JEE Mains exam and UKSEE for lateral entry and 12th merit is accepted for admission in Biotechnology.
