IIT Roorkee is just Wonderful

mechanical engineering is a evergreen branch. i opted this because i had a prior interest in it.this brnch deal with solution of real world problems.like optimizing in machines and technologies.al ml field is also a part of this branch. the only suggestion i can give is to reduce the syllabus of semesters.it is very comprehensive but ineretsing also. There a 2 exams per semester ,mid term and end term.

companies like microsoft ,google, accenture , cisco, bpcl ,tata steels, bajaj, mercedez,gravition and many more provides good internship with stipend. recently graviton has give a 9 lakh stipend for an internship of 2 months in our college. project is importent for internship. it help in shortlisteing the resume in the companies

campus placment of our college is very good,like more than 90% of students get oncampus placment with an average of approx 18 lakhs.after completing 7 sem placment companies starts their palcement procedure in the campus. highest package offered in our college is about 2.1 cr. my plan after gettting the degree is to opt for mtech.then i will go for the cororate sector or any startup

total fees of a year 275000 from which per semester we have to pay 135000 and 5000 is yearly fees.from 135000 ,100000 is tutuion fees andd rest is hostel plus +mess +electricity charge. and you can get scholorship also depending upon your family income. if your family income is less the 2 lakhs then you get whole tution fees wavier. if your family income is between 2 to 5 lakhs then you get 2/3rd of the tutuion fees wavier. and their are much more scholorships for students .

the whole campus is very beautiful ,the campus life is awesome. their are many opportunities for student in the campus to enhance the skill. our campus also organizes many fest like cultural ,technical , financial and social fest. our lecture halls are very advance with lots of tech anf all weather centralized AC. our campus also have lots of clubs which help in skill inhacment depending upon the interset

hostel facilities i will say is ok.like our campus is 175 years old .so hostel buildings have old infrastures.but all facilities is provided like highspeed internet in every room,neat and clean washrooms and playing courts for different sports. now new hostel building are made which is awesome in terms of facilites and infrastructure

It take admission through joint intrance exam.first you have to qualify for jee mains.cut for jee mains is nearly approx 88 percentile for general.after that their is jee advance .Nearly 10 lakh student gives jee mains.From that 2 lakh student get qualify for jee advance and in jee advance top 16000 get IIT colleges,my branch is mechancal in IIT Roorkee.so cutoff rank for this is approx 5000 in jee advance. jee mains has 2 attempts each fo 3 hr.from which best is considered.and jee advance is conducted in 2 different papers on the same day each of 3hr and score of both marks is combined in the result. application form is available on jeemains.nta.nic.in ,it fees is 1600,After that jee advance ,its fees is 1200.then josaa counselling ,its fees is 35000,from which 32000 is given to the institute in which you are going to enroll.this money is deducted from your fees. after jee advance depending upon our rank josaa counselling allot the branch and college form our prefrence list
