It is the college which fulfills the mission and objectives of the student. It gives healthy, growing and innovative opportunities to its students. The faculties are very good guides and councellors and they navigate the yacht of the student towards the desired destination and the management steers safely the whole ship towards the making of the future of its students.

I appeared in JEE exam. My exam score was 98, all India rank 76793. I opted for RIT because of its wonderful infrastructure, high class labs. And also I heard about the faculty here that they are highly qualified and experienced. I opted for Computer Science Engineering .

The syllabus or curriculum of a course of study is framed as to prepare students for the desirable skills and eligibility. With the help of guidance and councelling of faculties clicking of innovative ideas is the soul function of curriculum. The college follows the same syllabus as per syllabus of Uttarakhand Technical University.

The college provide the official internships during the third year of the engineering programme. But, even if anybody who wants to go for internships during the first or the second year, college provides the opportunities for such candidate aswell. Not everybody gets the stipends, but for those who do, the average stipend is around 8-9K per month.

The college has a very good placement record. 89-90% students get placed every year in reputed multinational firms. In our batch also almost every student who wanted to get placed got the job. The companies which came to campus include IBM,Bajaj Auto, Tata Projects, Just Dial, BYJU's and many more.

The college celebrates quite a number of events. The most famous ones being the cultural fest "Anugoonj", the technical fest "Technomax", the sports fest "Sportech". All these fests are celebrated on quite a large scale. Students from almost all the colleges of Uttarakhand participate during these festivals and win cash prizes upto 2 lacs.

The fee structure in the college is quite affordable and feasible. The annual fees for B.Tech courses is Rs 1,00,900/-, for Diploma it is 48,100/-, for MCA it is 80,900/-, for MBA 1,30,900/-, for B.Sc (Agriculture and Forestry) it is 60,000/- and for B.Ed it is 44,000/-

College offers good scholarships on the basis of 12th PCM aggregate marks, JEE ranking, qualifying degree exams, sports quota, toppers quota, army quota and women's quota.

Campus life is very good. There is no question of gender differences, equal rights and opportunities are given to males and females of any religion. There are regular industrial visits. Co-curricular activities like cultural and technical fests are held every year. Regular workshops are organized. Sports and debate competitions are held every year.

Hostel was neat and clean, I hadn't availed AC accomodation, though it was available in the hostel. Even then hostel life was rocking and friends were pearls. Mess is adjacent to the hostel-spacious and well maintained. Food was healthy, friendly and variety was there; had everything expect the taste of mother's midas touch.

Our seniors were supportive, good guides and councellors, and they always created adorable atmosphere. It is always a matter of pride to talk about institute's alumni and their honoured path to follow in life.

Two internal sessional exams are held in each semester which includes written as well as practical exams. The exam duration is 3 hours and each exam carries 100 marks. The practical examination is held before the final examination. At the end of each semester external examination is held which is conducted by Uttarakhand Technical University. NO, exams and labs were never hectic for us.

As i mentioned my All India rank was 76793. I filled UKSE councelling form. In councelling RIT, Roorkee was alloted to me. I reported there on the given date. Admission councellor of RIT gave me all the details of Institute then i visited the whole campus briefly. After my complete satisfaction with the campus, i took admission in RIT.

The faculty at the college is highly qualified for B.Tech and MBA programmes, they particularly hire Phds, from IIT's, IIM's and other good institutions. For Diploma courses they hire post graduate teachers who also have studied from renowned institutions. Other than the permanent faculties, college often invites the visiting faculties who are well renowned in their field.
