College common information

The course of btech certainly provides crux to the daily life science and technology. This in turn benefits the engineering students to adapt to the industrial market easily and more effectively. The course henceforth opens for wide range of academic pursuits in Masters from abroad, Mtech from IITs, PhD, etc. The course curriculum would prove better if new concepts over the industrial market will be included. The difficulty level of the exams are really appreciable and should be well acceptable as it provides an excellent edge to have detailed grip over knowledge and conceptual learning.

Both government and private associations provide internships with stipends respectively. The projects here are moreover from the students themselves. The students have teams made and innovative projects are mostly under progress. The TnP cell of the college is also very active and regularly shows its participation for succeeding the projects ahead

The college off campus placements have a good hype over here as from the batch of 2019 from ECE branch got its highest package of 97L per annum. The starting packages here on an average scale about 1L. The companies common here are BELLS, LnT, MICROSOFT, etc.

The tuition fee is about 47K with relaxations for the categories. There are a sufficient amount of scholarships available. The merit based, NSP, etc. are few commonly awailed scholarships. Further college also provides internships with a decent amount of stipends.

The fests include JOSH the sports fest typically held in the month of May, GOONJ the annual cultural fest held in the month of April, FOOTLOOSE the dance competition held in odd semester close to October and SPANDAN the techfest. Besides these there are a good number of workshops held by IEEE on GitHub, microprocessors, arduino,VLSI, etc. The classrooms are well built with smart board facilities. The campus also provides for basketball court, badminton court, cricket and football ground(separately). It also includes facilities for indoor games like chess, carrots, Table tennis, etc. There are also certain groups run by students like the ABHIVYAKTI society wherein the students spread awareness in the nearby areas, ADHYTAM the spiritual club, etc.

The room for first year is 3 sitter, second year has 5 to 3 sitter rooms, for third and final year 2 sitter rooms are provided. Each wing has separate washrooms and bathrooms in them. The quality of meal has a sufficient balance of a good diet. The menu is decided by the students themselves and changed at a periodic interval. The registration process for hostel goes parallel will the registration of the course. The affordability is also much better here. Rooms or PGs are available near Pauri the main town.

The admissions are based on the All India Rank secured in the JEE MAINS exam. The students who have completed their secondary and senior secondary or equivalent exams from physics, chemistry, maths are eligible to sit for the exam mentioned above. The application form with the details itself are provided in the online portal of NTA. The registration fee has certain bifurcations based on the category of the student. The exams are conducted in 2 phases. Each phase has 7 days and 2 shifts each day. The exam is for 3hours.
