Thapar Honest Review

From the beginning I was curious about computers. I love coding and am very much fond of new technology and the advancement in computers. In the first year in Thapar they have taught us about c language which is the most basic language this will help you to make a basic understanding about coding and make u think about different algorithms.So the curriculum is very apt teacher there are also very good they are well qualified. Something I want to tell you about the courses that in first year it also includes on subjects like maths physics chemistry environment which are not so relevant for students coming from computer branches like they are not core subjects for them so sometimes they can get frustrated or they distract from their type of specialisation in which they want to do their engineering. I would suggest that they should include more subjects of computers and particular courses which students opted in from the beginning starting of the first year.

There are many internship opportunities available in Thapar university for students who are well prepared in their particular field companies like JP Morgan ,de shaw, Paytm visit the college in the third year and give internship to the students. These companies also sometime give direct PPO to the students and higher them

Placement Opportunity in Thapar University are very good many big companies like the de shaw,JP Morgan,blackrock recruit in Thapar University. Highest package offered in Thapar university is around 60 lacs and the average package of Thapar universities is around 12 lakhs for computer science branch

Talking about the fee structure tuition fees is around 6 lakhs and fees increase by 10% per annum. Scholarships in Thapar in 1st year you got scholarship on the basis of your day percentile from the next years you got scholarship on the basis of your agpa that you syour in college examination

Thapar has a very good infrastructure it has huge campus of 250 acres talking about societies it has a lot of societies including technical as well as non technical. There are many fest in Thapar the annual fest of Thapar is named Saturnalia. The classrooms are also very well furnished they include big projectors. Society share are also very nice Thapar has its own sports team in every sport came like football basketball cricket badminton it also has sports fest held every year name as the urja sports festival.

Is very nice there are total 12 hostels in Thapar their naming of the hostel is on the basis of English alphabets hostel year are very well furnished where furnished and includes accomodation for single room, double room, three seaters and 4 seater.

I took admission in Thapar University through JEE mains exam my percentile in JEE mains was around 93. Talking about the eligibility of the course it requires minimum 70% marks in PCM boards and students should also appeared in JEE mains. We can take admission by two streams first one includes JEE mains and the second one includes through boards 50% seats are reserved for boards and 50% are reserved for JEE mains students. Talking about the reservation 50% of the seats are reserved for Punjab student candidates which have Punjab domicile and the rest of the 50% seats are reserved for other states Generally the cut off for Punjab students is low as compared to other state. Cut off for Computer science course goes up to 96%. All the processes was smooth but there are some suggestions I want to give for the admission process that they can connect with the students that have fill the form more oftenly so that they are aware of the admission criteria and their chances of getting admission

There are no interview or written test for admission they take admission on the basis of the Jeep percentage on the basis or on the basis of board we have to fill their application form which cost 1500
