Course Curriculum Overview

My course curriculum is good there will be enough time to prepare for mids and ends semester exam. But the evaluation process have many differences it is according to the faculty members. Some faculties evaluate the paper according to their interests and students.

Internships Opportunities

We will be having intership from the most of the private company sectors. Which some company will not pay for us work but they give the certification for the project we have done. Most of the companies will do the same thing.

Placement Experience

Placement offers in NIT CALICUT according to the cutoff CGPA of 7. The biggest companies like microsoft, tech mahendra Google and etc. will also come to our college for recruitment. For our branch the highest package was 38 lac per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure is according to the cast category, parent's annual income. And in case of hostel fees it will be fixed for everyone in the institute which is 60000 per year.wgich quite expensive for some students.

Campus Life

The campus life is very good and peaceful life. Here in NIT CALICUT will conduct many events wher we will enjoy more and we chill out in campus their are many canteens where we can have our food. I like my campus life.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are very good in NIT CALICUT. But the only thing is room is for one person per room but the management as accomadated two per room which is not that much stuffed but it's better to give one room per one person.

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

Admission

I was being selected by my percentile through my cast reservation. And when I came for physical reporting I saw management it was quite good. Now my institute is enhancing the infrastructure and now it has improved. I think they have to improve mro on maintanance

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Details Of NITC

I have choosen this college because it is of top 5 NITs and i am getting a good branch. I have apllied for remaining top nits also, but i got this for my jee mains rank( i couldn't make to other top nits because may be of lack of good preperation for jee). When compared to remianing NITs, this college has everything that every other NIT also have, the sports facilities here can be improved. I wanted to get into Mechanical Engineering in any of the top NIT's so applied for all the NIT's in the NIRF ranking order with mechanical in every college so after the counselling happened to get into NIT Calicut. The admission process is through JoSAA Counselling where students come to the college after getting alloted but before that the student needs to clear the JEE Main Exam to get admitted into the college.
