Remarks

Overall the college management is good but there are instances when the management fails in its work.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum that during economics honors is quite good. The structure of curriculum is prescribed by the university and almost all the colleges follow the same pattern. I would say that the curriculum is good as the books that are prescribed to us are of leading foreign authors and some of them are the ones which foreign universities use for their students.

Internships Opportunities

College does not provide any internship officially. But the teachers help students in grabbing any opportunity of internship .The general stipend is not fixed and it depends upon the nature and quality of research work but the overall experience of the students is always very good.

Placement Experience

1

Job opportunities differ in different courses talking about the placements the college does not help students in getting good placements but students can always get nice placements through the central placement cell of Delhi University where they can get ransom packages.

College Events

5

The college organises a lot of events and lot of festivals are celebrated in college campus. some of the events held in the college are official and unofficial freshers party, farewell party, an annual cultural fest in which students from various colleges of Delhi take part and also win exciting prizes, get their talents identified. The college also has a number of societies which the students can join according to their interests and calibre. The main societies of the college are : The dramatics society Rangayan, The photographic society Pixelation, the dance society, the music society, the debating Society of Hindi and English other societies of respective departments.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of all the courses is very feasible and inexpensive. Degree course which has a little high fees is the BSC Computer Science Honours which is again not very high but for the students that are from economically weaker sections it is a little unfeasible. But if the students work a little hard and raise money for their own education, by doing tuitions or some sort of internships then they can easily meet up with that.

Fees and Financial Aid

As yet I have not availed any scholarship from the college but yes college provides a lot of scholarships to the students belonging to financially weaker section and also give cash prizes to the top position holders of every year.

Campus Life

4

The campus life of which college is very good because of the nearby Satya Niketan market and the flats and the hostel and the PG life. The gender ratio is also good as there are equal number of boys and girls. The diversity is also really great as the students from different different states of the country come to take admission in the college. There are lots of extra curricular activities that the college offers. There are lots of societies which students can join according to their interest and calibre. There are good departments, labs, large ground and supportive staff and teachers.

Hostel Facilities

2

There is no hostel facility in the college and hence no mess food but there is a college canteen which serves pretty good food both quantity wise and quality wise. But the students can rent houses and take PGS in the nearby Satya Niketan area which is quite reasonable and the food there is also really very good.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumini network of the college is very good and the senior students keep visiting the college. Recently in the college organised an alumni meet 2018 where the alumini of all the previous batches were invited. It was really exciting to meet the alumni of 1990 batches to the alumini of 2015 and 16 batches. It is very helpful.

Exam Structure

The exam structure in the college and in the whole University is of semester examination in which the exams are conducted twice in a year in the month of December and may. In between the semester examination the internal assessment takes place throughout the year.

Admission

The the admission admission process can be easily sum up in following steps : 1. First of all I filled up the university admission form. 2. when the admission cut-offs started to come out I matched my marks with the cutoff and got to know in which colleges I was able to get admission and then I decided upon in which college I wanted to get admission. 3. I took a printout of application form for admission into the college in which I was seeking the admission and on the date of admission I went to the college office and show them my marks, they gave me an admission form which I filled with all the correct details. I submitted the fee and completed all the essentials and hence I got admission in this college. 4. I was provided with time table and according to that started taking my classes.

Faculty

4

Assessment of the faculty of our college can be done as: As a matter of fact there are both type of teachers. There are teachers which are dedicated towards teaching and performance of the students. Along with them some teachers can be found which are a little less dedicated towards all the teaching. over and all the faculty is really good, sincere and up to the mark.

The course curriculum is a bit too theoretical and less practical. The exams in the college takes places every month which are seasonals and are for internal marking and then we have semester exams in every 6 months which accounts for the external marking.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is really very interesting. It keeps up with our expectations. Involves both practical and theoretical aspects to make sure that we are able to face the real world. Also, with the help of the guidance that we get from teachers we're able to ace both the aspects. The examinations also are based on applications, thus, helping us to enhance ourselves in all possibilities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

Reviewed on Oct 17, 2022(Enrolled 2020)

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months
