Wonderful college, wonderful atmosphere

There are positives and negatives of each and every institute and in RIT there is space for some more improvements. Overall, it is a good college and a good place to shape up your career.

The only reason to opt this college was the buzz around our area about the college. The atmosphere inside the campus, faculty, work culture, study, extra activities all the things were up to mark. I felt what i heard about this college is actually true.

The course curriculum was as per the Uttarakhand Technical University guidelines. Syllabus we studied was very helpful for making a good career. It includes all the necessary subjects to develop a true professionals like PDP, communications, technical subjects etc.

Yes they do. College provides internship for only those students who have cleared all the subjects means they do not have any backlogs in previous semesters.

Placement cell of RIT is very cooperative and they are working very hard for students to giving them an opportunity to get placed in a good company. This is the outcome of their efforts that big names like BAJAJ AUTOS, IBM, JUSTDIAL, TATA PROJECTS, MAHENDRA & MAHENDRA etc regularly visit the campus.

There were many events celebrated when i was in RIT like Sportech for sports, Technomax for technical exhibition, Anugoonj for cultural events. There were some other events celebrated in our college like dj nights, halloween party etc. after taking admission in RIT, one can expect lots of happening activities inside the campus. So, go ahead opt for RIT.

Fees structure is very approachable for every category of society. It is around 1 lacs per year if you do not get any scholarship. If we talk about scholarships there were lots of opportunities for students to reduce your fees on the basis of academic records only.

RIT provides lots of scholarships to its students like meritorious scholarships, there is sports quota, women quota, army quota, J&K quota etc

Campus is nice blend of male and female candidates from different different states and countries. You can expect different cultures under the same roof which will help you in your career. Labs are well furnished with all the facilities, there are enough opportunities for sports and other technical or non technical competitions.

Being a girl, I think RIT girls hostel is one of the best in the country. The hostel is situated inside the campus itself so no issues of security. It has all the basic as well as advanced facilities like AC/Non-AC rooms, common rooms, indoor sports inside the hostel etc. Hostel mess is neat and clean and provides delicious and healthy food to the students.

There is a group made for alumni and pass out students which is i think the best thing from college i feel after passing out the course. Yes, it is helpful for us to share any information with each other.

In between the semester, exam cell of RIT conducts two sessional exams each of 30 marks (now I heard that the sessionals are of 100 marks) at the end of the semester the final exams are scheduled under the UTU. The exam structure is very helpful for students as they get enough time to prepare themselves for the semester exams.

I heard about the merit list of this college that they only take admission on the basis of good academic record. As i secured good percentage in 12th standard, i applied for the CSE department but unfortunately i didn't get the seat so i opted for IT. Not only the academic record they took an entrance test, i qualified it and got the admisssion.

Faculty in RIT was very very good during our time. They were very supportive and helpful in every aspect. Faculty in RIT was highly qualified and experienced. They attend faculty development programs from time to time to improve their skills and help the students as much as they can.
