Course Curriculum Overview
The course contents was really exciting. All the curiculum was upto industry standards and i hope it will help me in my placement. The professors really taught with real life examples and applications. I choose the ECE curiculum because it is versatile and i would be able to go in multiple fields in the future if i want to. Improvement can happen in certain professors who only teach from ppts. The exam levels depend on the professor
Internships Opportunities
The internship oppurtunities was little bleak this year. We do not have any data on this. But from what we have heard from our seniors companies like NVIDIA and google came for internship. They were giving jobs in core branches(ECE) and in the it field
Placement Experience
The highest package was 64 lakh per annum this year. This was backed by 10 students. Companies like google ,microsoft, amazon,jaguar come here.The final placement data is not released so we do not know it fully. But average package is close to 16 lakh per annum
Fees and Financial Aid
Tution fees are set in the start of the admission process and remain constant throughout. The complete cost of tution and mess it about 10,790,000. this includes the mess fees of 18000 per semester and the rest in tution fees. There are multiple scholarships available to students like MCM, NSP. Also for EWS a part of fees is removed according to family income. No campus employment taken. We are just students bro.
Campus Life
The college has a large number of Sociocultural activities throughout the year. We have a total of 11 Socio-cult Clubs. Few of them are Clix(Photography Club), Aaroh(music club), Cinewave(Filmamking society), Panacea(Literary Club) etc.. Here we have 4 fests Ashvamedha( Sports fest), E summit ( Entrepreneurial conclave), Alma Fiesta (socio cultural fest (it is not that good)), Wissenaire (The technomanagement fest, Best fest). We have a extended library with 2 floors in the administrative building. One of them is the library equipped with many books and AC facility. There is also a reading room. We have 2 Functional LHCs with multiple classrooms and world class facilities. We have a extended students gymkhana containg socio cult , technical and sports councils.
Hostel Facilities
I live in a hostel.We have 6 hostels. 3 for boys and 2 for girls and 1 for married people. We have 1 table, 1 chair, 1 fan, 1 tubelight, 1 bed, 1 big cupboard. We are provided with single rooms and the room is very spacious. The hostel mess food is not that good. The food prepared is not always the best quality. But the paid canteen has good food.
Admission
It all started when i was a child. My parents had started preparing me for jee exam as a child. Then after 12th i gave my jee exam given by nta. We had to give 2 exams jee mains and then jee advanced. Jee mains was of medium difficulty and jee advanced was of very high difficulty. It has a success rate of only 5%.It happens once a year. Then i qualified for jee advanced and gave iit bbs in my preference. Then i got seat in iit bhubaneswar in ECE department. Before i arrived here we were put in Sg (student guide) groups contatining few students and 1 Student guide from iit bhubaneswar. He helped us in the admission process telling us how to fill the admission form , fees etc. We were very happy to be able to contact someone from iit bbs and ease our admission process. The course curiculum in the college is very good
