Likes

I love the ambience and location of the college its overall a very clam location
The student's social life and overall synegy is purest
The placement oppertunity despite of being in remote location

Dislikes

The student council need to impove their functions
The lack of big tech fest and cultural fest
The attendance restriction which overall waste a lot of our time

Course Curriculum Overview

Well to be honest the college curriculum is very much outdated the syllabus needs to be updated as soon as possible to meet the current industrial benchmark. Which is way above then our curriculum although the standard lacks a practical approach. We do have practical classes but that doesn't help us much with our training. Most of the students need to prepare themselves for the placements and internships.

Class Size: 152Course Fees: INR 70000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Compared to other colleges even compared to the IITS we are much cheaper. Any General need to pay 70000 per semester If your guardian's income is less then 400000 you get fee weaver of 50% . If less then 100000 is the family income you get full extention from the tuition fee

Campus Life

Social life in the National Institute of Technology Agartala is very rich with dozens of clubs to join if you are interested there are clubs in every niche from technical like robotics aviation club to social like drama dance, and many other clubs. The facilities are good.

Admission

I got admission through JOSAA councelling for sitting in JOSAA you need to clear JEE exam , In JEE I got 94 percentile in it. In JEE you need to get atleast 100 marks to consider a good branch in my college. But offcourse of you are from other state you need yo have much higher percentile atleast 97 %ile to get through. In case of home state to get into Computer Science Department you need to atleast have 93%ile if you are from home state itself

The placement in our college could certainly improve and the student body alongside the Placement Cell are working on that. Oftentimes a lot of MBA graduates get the highest package and oftentimes students from BTech get the highest package

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Many compines visit in our college like tcs, ibm, jio, Infosys. The highest Pacakedge is of 40 lpa and average package is 8.5 lpa .30 percent of students get placed

If i say it clearly. You can apply for internships even after 1st year or semester but what really matters is time if you are dedicated for that the please do it But ideally you are applicable for on campus internships from 3rd year. After my bTech degree i am planning to pursue MTech in EE

Best technical institute in Tripura

Placement Experience:

Every year placements happen and about 80 percent of the total students of the institute get placed in various dream tier and other companies with good packages. The packages depend on year to year, more specifically on hiring trends. I still did not make a decision for my post degree plans.

Placement Experience:

From third year students are eligible for campus placement and internships. Many companies visit like Microsoft , CISCO , L&T , Mahindra etc . Highest package offered was 52lpa in tech and 20lpa in core and average package is 9lpa. Around 75% student get placed . My plan is to do M.tech by qualifying GATE exam .

Placement Experience:

Placements are good enough if you if your skills are much better than others if your CG is at least above them 8.5 then you will definitely get a good package so many companies comes to our college including Microsoft Google Amazon etc.. highest package of last year is 68 lpa

NIT Agartala is one of the most prettiest colleges in India!!

Placement Experience:

From Gaya Steel, to JK Tyres and companies involved in production were the ones who gave us placements. On and average production engineers at our college were paid around 4-5 lakhs a year. The lowest of all but still in top corporate houses as no start-ups are into production. This established names where the one who gave us placements.

placements are moderate in this college. many seniors got an opportunity of internship in google and different prestigious companies. you can be eligible for internships and placements in 5th semester. i thing highest pacake if 70 lakh from google and 12 lakh is average package from computational mathematics branch. and recently 22 lakh package has been taken by our senior by phonep company. i just want an internship in my 3rd year in an tech company and want to get placed in the 4th year. I thing above 90% students get placed in our college

It is long journey of hard work how i get in this college and course . First I qualified JEE main but not got good rank so I got Biotech branch in NIT Agartala according to my rank . But I studied well in first year and scored a high CGPA and slided my branch to Mechanical . I have in all top NITs but not got a ceat there . Admission is only through JEE main rank . JOURNEY TO NIT AGARTALA

When I was applying to collleges, I appeared for JEE Mains and applied to other NITS and IIITS , My aim wwas to secure admission in reputed national institutes with good placements. I got admission in NIT Agartala(ECE Branch),which i chose over other colleges because of NIT brand value, national-level peer group, alumini network. I couldn't make it to the top tier NITS and IIITS as my JEE rank was slightly higher than their cutoff range. The competition is extremely tough and even a few marks can make huge difference in rank. The admission process is conducted through JoSAA/CSAB councelling based on score, For btech admission,JEE main is the accepted and most prefrred exam. The basic eligibilty is passing 10+2 wiht Physics ,Chemistry and Maths. Cutoff vary depending on category and branch.
